Elaborate. Is it an error in current listing or did I cut you off by 250 coins v:

Also Criptfeind asked me 'where Legalism at' so I decided to make it up. It required tinkering with Confucianism though.

Also also, people mention that the map is rather tiny, so extra Provinces spring up!

EDIT: This is an add-on for next game, if it happens. None of this will be applied to current game ;v

Nooo! I thought he wouldn't notice how OP it was :P

And I was naively wondering why Daoism was so popular :P

Change added to the Rules and becomes effective immediately.

I think I will have to throttle Daoist coverage bonus to +1 per 33% (+3 at full 100% compared to current +5). In such a conquest-heavy game, +5 is whole half a dice :I

Thoughts anyone?

Vultures and Snakes: Prophets believe that another string of calamities is to occur next Spring, as vultures and venomous snakes are aplenty in places they aren't ought to be. People across the land of Han are already worried!

Not Easily Deterred: Ignored by Ji Zo, Tian Liuxian next travels to the neighbouring lands of Zhang Li, presenting himself at his court and offering his services: 3800 Coins of initial payment and 1900 Coins each season afterwards.

The Sated Greed: The Barbarians plunder the lands of Ji Zo a bit more, stealing goods worth 400 Coins! However they seem to have sated their thirst for money, as they soon left the borders of Western Ji and presumably returned to their steppe.

You order some guards from the capital and the palace to be sent south, amounting to almost thousand lightly armed men.

A week later you get a report from the southern garrisons; an army of about two thousand soldiers (about half of them mounted) has been spotted moving toward Felonsein. The garrison commanders alerted your soldiers in that area, but they ask you for instructions, especially that at least five small groups of Lametanian horsemen are still running circles about your borderlands.

A) Keep calm and concentrate on the raiders for now.
B) Send out raiding parties into Lametania to wreak some havoc!
C) Try to coordinate a pincer attack to annihilate the Lametanians!

You send orders for the Army to rest and recuperate for now, and await news from the west.

1096 AD, Summer

There is a situation on the southern border!

Numerous reports come from several border garrisons and city governors; Lametanian riders begun raiding into Methiant territory, burning villages and killing peasants left and right! While there has been no formal declaration of hostilities from King Otalan, the comamnders in the south do treat this as war and request immediate assistance! You decide to...

A) Send a letter to King Otalan, asking him to explain this unprovoked aggression.
B) Send some city guards and royal bodyguards to strengthen the border.
C) Send for the Army in Felonsein to pack up and head for border with Lametania.

You tell the Treasurer to keep it in safe place for now, so you can gift it your your next wife or perhaps your daughters when they marry.

The caravan of Gubta spices arrives at your palace next morning!

The hunger for spice grows exponentially - people toss their money in the faces of your merchants just to get a bag of their favorite sweet, sour, spicy or savory flavors. Treasury earns double the profits compared to last year!

Two weeks later you receive an update on the war in the west; the Felonsines apparently remain divided underneath the picture of stability; one nobleman surrendered along with five hundred soldiers, while some retainers of Queen Goana fled northwards toward the mountains; another group of more loyal men (a thousand soldiers) was defeated and routed.

1096 AD, Late Spring

The unthinkable have happened - the Felonsines surrendered their capital! The city garrison refused to take arms while some of Goana's relatives were executed or captured by your soldiers. The Queen has fled southwards to Lametania, home of her husband King Otalan. Numerous barons are abandoning her banner and surrendering themselves to your officers, while the few remaining loyalists flee southwards to Lametania or westwards toward Duchy of Koi.

Few hours after the report you receive a messenger of King Elran of Eldrican; his forces have successfully tied up forces of the Koi by besieging three border forts, hopefully preventing them from intervening in your war against the Felonsines (which King Elran says begun most favorably).

This surprising yet welcome success has caused many of your courtiers to start celebrating already!

The messenger who brought the report from your generals however awaits orders. You decide to...

A) Have most of the Army pull away from Felonsein, now that it has been conquered.
B) Have the Army rest and recuperate, because they're going to invade Duchy of Koi next month!
C) Have the Army rest and recuperate in the newly conquered lands to see how situation develops in the far west.

I was going to update but then noticed that we're lacking Wolfhunter's post, oh well (he didn't get here before THE DOWNTIME, rip).

Also, next update will introduce Tea Plantations to the game. Yay for leaf drinks! Caravan/Trade Route system will get added some other day (or in the next game).

You declare that Methiant soldiers are to not stop before Felonsein is conquered, but you will stay behind, citing lack of heirs (which is perfectly fine with your courtiers).

1096 AD, Mid-Spring

You receive first report from the 'frontlines': your soldiers crossed into Felonsein territory, and, after sending a small unit of horsemen fleeing westwards, have captured several villages, the local peasantry equally confused and terrified of the invasion.

Next day, there's a lucky find in one of guest chambers!

One of the guest chambers was overdue for renovation, but when the palace servants moved a large wooden wardrobe aside, a small chest fell out from a hiding space behind it. They've given it to the captain of the guard who brought it to you. With a locksmith examining and then opening the box, its contents are revealed.

The box is filled with golden, pearl and glass jewelry adorned with markings of Houlandine dynasty. With an old but still pretty blue-dyed dress included, these must've belonged to a lady from Luathbas' royal family. There are also few bits of perfumed wax, along with several gold coins. All of these coins bear images of the Luathbas Kings, both from Houlandine dynasty and the dynasty before it.

Treasurer's appraisal experts believe that this box must've been hidden during or after the collapse of Luathbas.

The Treasurer of course asks what do you wish to do with this treasure cache.

A) Send it to the Ceodwells, the only true descendants of the Houlandines. They might appreciate our gift.
B) Try to find a good seller for the trinkets. Who knows, it might help our Treasury a bit.
C) Keep it safe; mayhaps we can gift it to our next wife, or maybe to our daughters when they marry.
