You decide to talk reason with them.
The reason goes out of the window when one of the engineers raises his sword in your general direction!
After the dust settles down, seventeen engineers are dead, thirty people are wounded and the rest of Blackheart operators were thrown into dungeon. What a mess.
You talk with your courtiers, and determine that best course of action is to...
A) Expel the Felonsines and confiscate their equipment.
B) Send an envoy to Felonsein, requesting talks about the whole thing.
C) Expel the Felonsines along with their belongings and Blackhearts.

A great purge occured in the royalty of Ceodwell; all but the youngest of King Aun's sons - who is now designated heir - were executed on charges of treason and conspiracy, along with at least thirty nobles and administrators of various ranks.
Your wife donned the white veil of death to mourn her siblings in accordance to her family's customs.
Gems, silver and Fireblood materials arrive.
There's also a report from the manager of the silver mines; his miners have hard time meeting the quotas as old veins are getting fully drained and new ones are hard to find. He writes that this mining operation should be profitable for few more years at least at current rates.
New host of Felonsine Blackhearts arrives at your castle!
This leads to potentially dangerous development few days later; apparently some keen-eyed new arrivals spotted some of your alchemist doing 'field' work on your brand of Fireblood. New spread like fire and now there's about thirty angry foreigners shouting 'treason' about their chambers.
You decide to...
A) Pacify the Felonsine engineers with help of your guards.
B) Meet with them personally and explain that this is clearly a simple misunderstanding.
C) Offer them money to keep silent about this incident.
D) Publicly renounce the treaty and send the Felonsine engineers back home.

News come from the north; Kingdom of Ionith has fallen after its capital was captured. Queen Dogethe forced Ionithes into personal union by marrying their underage prince Kola. Rumors coursing between your courtiers say that she is going to strike the Dahnians next.

Same goes for the second, smaller half of Cydwyl monetarybribe tribute, which arrives in your castle few days after that.
And few days later, an upset messenger arrives from northwest, carrying the news of envoy sent to the Hurthlings - or rather, what's left of the envoy! His dismembered head was found on a tree stump near one of the most outlying Methiant villages. The skin was flayed and the eyes were pulled out of the sockets. A letter was tied with rope to the macabre thing: 'Any Bigfoots tresspassink into the lands of peaceful Hurtlings will be killed, so sayeth mighty King Pepperonchini!'.
A) This means war! Invade the Tiftit Kingdom and show the half-humans who's the boss!
B) Let's just drop the idea before we run out of envoys, shall we?
C) Try again, this time with armed escort and perhaps some locals.
