One Deputy lies dead and both Outlaws are ready to kill more! Who can avenge Guy "The Wild" Gal?

(The deputies learned new information about their opponents!)

Following another hunch they had, the deputies crossed the prairie further west and then moved onto the mountains west.

Soon as the morning break and they continue they search, a few hundred meters forward, they spot a small, crude shack built against the side of a hill. A wisp of smoke is rising from a small fireplace, a small cooking pot hanging on a chain over a tripod of large sticks. A lone horse, with saddle and bags on it, is tied to a lone post, few meters to the left-side of the shack.

A lone, tall man in a duster and black hat is stirring in the pot with some long spoon. The door to the shack is open, but it is too dark inside to see anything from this far away, and it has no windows to look through either.

The man is too absorbed with cooking his meal to spot the deputies from this far away.

Old Woman of Agua Fria: "Them Trowel boys? I 'member they easy tire in them heats. How I know this? Well, theirs father was a travel'r after mines dried up and didn't mind thems deserts, but his boys were all whiny when followin' thru, so if they be goin' anywhere, I gonna bet yous it is not desert."


Miguel chats with other ladies but it soon becomes obvious they know even less than their friend.

Train Station Lady: "A ticket to Irontown would be 5$, hun. Have a nice day." She says when Pat turns to leave.

Trying his hardest Guy Gal still fails to find any information.


The general store has some ladies browsing summer hats and fancy pomades, whilst the shopkeeper, a balding man with bushy moustache and pair of glasses on his nose, is watching from behind the desk.

"Flora's Cantina" Barlady: "I might or might not know something about them Trowels. How about you buy a drink first and then I tell you what I know? We got good whiskey for 1$ a glass."

Train Station Lady: "Depends where you goin' hun, we issue tickets per destination. As for the Trowels? No, we make sure that wanted criminals don't hop trains, either bluntly or sneakily so. You need a ticket somewhere, hun?"

Pat enters the train station which is deserted at this time of day.

A large blackboard, with words and numbers and little x's and long lines drawn in chalk, hangs on the wall opposite from clerks' desks.

Out of four clerk's desks, only one is occupied by train station lady in black uniform with golden trims. She looks at Pat expectantly.

Guy quickly finds some useful information.

Cowboy of Agua Fria: "I heard that Ian has catlike walk to himself. Peeps say he sweeps past by them like a zephyr, quietly and frighteningly so."


Jackson enters the decent salloon, "Flora's Cantina".

A large and beautiful barlady stands behind the bar, pouring some drinks for parched patrons.

Some other patrons are busy playing blackjack. The pianist at the large wooden piano is playing a happy tune.
