The Damdamian Senate needs YOU! ...to backstab your opponents and become the most powerful man of the Republic!

You order the common soldiers to form up lines and fight against the coming wave of horsemen.

As the horsemen come, mostly lancers this time, your men either cling to rocky surfaces or advance in lines on open ground. Soon, many on both sides begin to fall down, and the battle turns into a bloody melee!

6honestly all this luck

The Cydwyls didn't except such a stiff resistance from mere foosoldiers! As their casualties mount, their commander blows the retreat horn and this wave of the horsemen scampers northwards.

An hour later, as the sun is slowly descending behind the horizon, your scouts bring news.

"Sire, the routed Cydwyl are recuperating and regrouping in a forest north of here. It seems they might be trying to attack us once more in the morning." A council is held between you and your officers. After many discussions and considerations, you decide to...

A) Send an envoy to parley with the Cydwyl.
B) Send your soldiers under cover of night to strike the dismounted horsemen.
C) Get some rest and prepare for the tomorrow's combat.
D) Retreat southwards to City of Ydwall.

A card game loosely based on the lore pertaining to southerners in SPAMKINGDOM games. Forge alliances, stab your opponents, obtain various ranks and positions in the Republic, and ultimately win the game V:

Added a Turn order, made the 'card type <> faction' relations more clear, and added 9 new cards. Any thoughts?

Or should I just make up a test game thread and see how it goes in practice? Not sure :Vc

Testgame thread is up!

Ehhhhh.

Gib SPD or SKL next time v;

The most pressing question/concern is...

WILL IT BE FULLY 'FUNCTIONAL' BODY!?

9247
Also the last five times I went to the IRC room it's been totally dead, like FEF in general, so I don't think a Discord matters much. :V

Hard for it to not look dead when you come when half of people are asleep and other half is busy and you leave 3 minutes after joining before anyone can come back and say hi. V:

9248
Hmm, fair points. I will introduce some sort of 'turn order'.

Even more new things, but this time its only a concept for now!

You order Blackhearts to fire away!

Quote
5*

The mighty roars of the Blackhearts in concjuction with exploding terrain works as intended! Many Cydwyl riders are shaken off and trampled by their own terrified mounts, and the second wave is routed before it deals any real damage.

But the third wave is coming! The Blackhearts are being cleaned and prepared, but it will take time, so they can't be used again yet...

A) Footsoldiers, assemble!
B) Evacuate! Evacuate!

9250
So I took the old Ancorage concept of building up your points with cards, and then I looked at my SPAMKINGDOM lore and thought...

...why the heck not?

Spoiler: AiWiDR Cards (click to show/hide)

Whaddaya think? ;v

Your order this initial wave to be stopped with archers!

Quote
4*

Arrows are launched in both sides and sink in the bodies of the soldiers of both sides! So mighty is the initial exchange that you think you saw the sworld go grey under their shadow!

Or maybe you just looked into the sun and got momentarily blinded.

The initial wave of horsemen is pushed away, but your scouts report another coming. Your archers on the other hand have been savaged quite a bit; many are being tended to by healers.

A) Blackhearts, fire at will!
B) Time to get the enemy into melee!

You quickly order your troops to find some cover and set a fortified camp.

Quote

An uneven terrain, not really aspiring to be hills, is found in the otherwise plain landscape of Cydwyl.

But the horsemen are almost there! While your Army is in middle of its work, and Blackhearts are only begin positioned, a wave of horse archers knocks up dust in the north!

A) Blackhearts away!
B) Arrow them down!
C) Battle lines, now!

How much forces do we have?

I wager that about 2000 would be the highest margin.

You order a march toward the Capital of Cydwyl!

Several days later your scouts bring you new information; the Cydwyl army is marching straight towards you! Or rather, they're riding, as vast majority of their three thousand troop is comprised of horsemen wielding either spears or bows.

Your officers convene with you; you do not have sufficient numbers to repel such big number of horses, your own cavalry in few hundred and the amount of foot you have doesn't match the Cydwyl numbers either.

You decide to...

A) Camp on a hill or in a forest, and fortify your position.
B) Retreat to Ydwall and hole up there.
C) Retreat back behind the Methiant border.
D) Send your own horsemen to disrupt them, then follow up with Blackhearts and footsoldiers!
