Naw the 6 is special roll bonus which gave you silver mines, kingdom boon just gets +2 to chosen stat.

Neither Luathbas nor Tven rolled a 6 on special so they haven't had any specials, duh.

9347
Forgot to put in the map, I hope you guys like balkanization effect as much as I do '<.

9348
You ask them to go and fashion the Sky Iron into a necklace. They bow their heads, and then scribble down the contract in two copies, one for them and one for you, The leader backsteps to his group with their copy of the document and bows his head.

"Now we shall go under the earth of your castle and there we shall work for hundred days and nights and then we will emerge with the artifact you have hired us to make." You tell the guards to take the dwarves to one of the deeper dungeon cells.

1076 AD, End of the Year

While you're reciting poetry to your dearest wife, the Advisor stumbles in at the worst moment and brings those Scrolls of Kingdom Status of his, and one other large scroll.

Happiness: 5
Population: 3
Economy: 3
Army: 4

"As you can see, my liege, our peoples are few and our coffers are mostly empty. Mayhaps we should raise the tax for next year, to provide enough coin for our various expenses?"

A) "Aye!"
B) "Nay!"

He unrolls the other scroll and sprawls it on your table.

"The scribes have consulted with caravaneers and librarians of the Cloister of Tech, thus being able to create a map of the local kingdoms and domains."

You send for the dwarves of Zasitost to come and work Sky Iron.

Less than a week later, their representatives arrive. Smelly, with unkept beards, stained cloaks, dressed in blacks, browns and greens, the dwarven craftmasters arrive. Their bald leader smiles at you, showing his golden teeth.

"Greetings, human King of Methiant. We heard the call to come and we knew our purpose before your man arrived with message, as we saw the descent of the star. So we already prepared to craft Sky Iron into a bauble; a necklace that could turn away flying objects from your persona. Or we can fashion the metal into the blade of a knife, one that could cut both mundane and supernatural with great force. We ask for only some money, as we surely get enough leftover pebbles of Sky Iron to account for most of our services." You decide to...

A) Pay them for creation of a protective necklace.
B) Pay them for creation of an enchanted knife.
C) Reject their services after all, as you do not find them suitable to your needs.
D) Offer them to sell the Sky Iron to them instead.

9350
You send the money and within a week, the brave warriorpriests and so on join your regular soldiers.

1076 AD, Midwinter

While you're eating dinner with your wife, munching on a roast duck, sudden there's a loud screech, and then an explosion that shakes the entire castle.

After you are informed that it is not an attack by some magical creatures, one of sentries informs you that he saw a flash of light in the nearby forest. After few hours, a search party locates few smashed trees, a crater and several fragments of shiny black rock in its centre.

"Sky iron, my liege!" Says one of your scholars as the pieces are brought in for examination. "A rare and magical rock, it is." You decide to...

A) Sell the rocks away for hefty amount of coin.
B) Have the Methiant smiths smelt it down into a trinket for your dear wife.
C) Call the dwarves to come and fashion this rare ore into something truly spectacular - for a price of course.

9351
You agree to the marriage proposal.

The woman you marry few weeks later - Auga - turns out to be average in both body and mind, but as your maids note, she has a knack for knitting and embroidery. Your marriage is attended by a choir of Alldivine monks, chanting praises of all that is divine and asking the divines to bring you love, prosperity and many children.

1076 AD, Winter

The wagons full of silver arrive in your palace to fill the coffers of your Treasury!

Few days later you receive a letter from the Cloisterlord of Tech; the local cloisters have about a thousand of trained youth and a group of veterans, ready to serve in your Army, if you're willing to donate to the Alldivines.

A) Send the money, bring the warriors!
B) On other hand, that was a silly pact. Renounce it!

9352
A

9353
Small enough to be called 'one of local' ;v

9354
You agree to pay the Alldivine Cloisters every so often in return for soldiers and battlepriests.

1076 AD, Autumn

An offer of marriage from one of local kings! Specifically, Aun, King of Ceodwell, is offering his second daughter's hand in marriage.

A) Sure!
B) Naw.

9355
That's cuz you don't update fast enough to contain all my votes, mang '<.

9357
You let Battlebrother Angst into your throne room. He greets you with circular motion of his right hand, per Alldivine etiquette.

"May all the powers supernatural bless you, King Yoe. I'm Battlebrother Angst of the Cloister of Tech, speaking for the authority of the Cloisterlords. We wish to supply you with the youths and veteran battlebrothers in return for lavish donations upon our altars. Would you be interested in such an agreement? Every two years or so, our ranks would be ready to send you your new soldiers."

A) "Agreed, let's make it formal."
B) "No, thank you."
C) "No, but can I procure men from you in times of emergency instead?"

9358
Well, we have a clear winner.

~~Northern Turmoil (985 AD - 1070s AD)~~

...and the Northern Turmoil, as my own peoples came to call it, was a time of great strife; soon after collapse of Grand Duchy of Tven, Atredh and Eón of of Dahnia fell in battles against Agaresians; meanwhile, a mighty war saw Lametanians and Ceodwells overtax and overwork their peoples, who rebelled, throwing their lots with local noblemen (or dwarves). The Dahnians soon descended into civil war, with three of Eón's sons vying for crown, until the Agaresians killed one of them and the other two had to form an union to survive.

The Union of Brothers happened in 1013 AD, and it was thought it would bring stability into region, but the Albions (people of Alba) began raiding the salt coasts in large numbers, using their swift Serpentboats, and the strained Kingdom of Dahnia soon fell into a hole it couldn't get up from. This caused many southern lands of Dahnia to rebel and alike their neighbours, fragment into petty kingdoms that would wage war amongst themselves for next five decades, with the impoverished Kiwis in the west and Kashites in the east doing little to profit from these wars.

It was this era of strife and instability that religion became once more dominant, and the recent arrival of Path of Alldivine warrior-priests shook the traditional faiths. A notion started by a ex-soldier turned philosopher, the Alldivines saw all various deities of various pantheons as 'concepts' that were divine and worthy of praise no matter their origin, and their self-discipline and emphasis on physical training and teaching of self-defense made them popular targets for families to turn their sights to. In span of decades, the Cloisters of Alldivinity sprung up across the plains from Felonsein to Hel, large settlements providing for and guarded by the Warrior-Priests.

By the late 1060s the fragmented kingdoms began to be united; by sword and torch, of course, some gaining as much as lands equal to a Kingdom of Luathbas in size, or greater, yet a united land under rule of one man seemed but a dream of the past...

"Before and After the Millenial" Chapter 15, by Cunn Ingwulf, Historian of the Kings of Hel

1076 AD

Victory! The foul Dumdum of Methiant has been slain by you and your fellow conspirators. The victims of the tyrant has been avenged, and your fellow conspirators chose you, Yoe of Duede, as the next King of Methiant! You're known amongst them as a charming, charismatic fellow, well suited to be a politician.

Here comes the youthful Advisor, with the proper instruments of administration in these parts: Scrolls of Kingdom Status.

Happiness: 5
Population: 3
Economy: 3
Army: 3

You're not sure what all those mean, and the Advisor is babbling poetically about these numbers. Oh well!

Quote
6

"Sire, our greatest asset is the silver mines in the northeast, lodged between the dwarven fortress of Zasitost and the Kashite Mountains, but these were always object of desire for many local rulers."

1076 AD, Spring

You have a visitor! It is the envoy from the local Cloister of Alldivines, Battlebrother Angst, who wishes to annoint you with holy oils of Alldivines and also talk business about possible additions of Battlebrothers into your Army.

A) Feh! I'm not gonna pour money into the coffers of Alldivines. I can do better than that!
B) Fine, let him in, the Cloisters of Alldivines can be useful allies after all.

Can't count Culise's vote cuz he chose two apparently? And that's a no-no v;

drake, drake, drake, drake, drake, drake, = 6
karl oxton, = 1
robert,  = 1
yoe, yoe, yoe, yoe, yoe, yoe, yoe, yoe, = 8
lon, = 1
karl of crescent, = 1

Tight competition! Still, there's time to vote.
