You organize a fortified camp at the plains, as the local lands lack in hills or forests or any easily defensible positions. Part of your cavalry is dismounted and pick up crossbows to provide cover fire.

The rebel mass approaches from southeast and soon it is evident that there is more than three thousand five hundred of them! But you have no time to react, as they charge!

The initial attack turns into a terrible massacre of the rebels, as your cavalry mounts a wonderful counterattack that smashes into the center of their troops and hacks down many of their 'officers'. Few are taken captive and soon it is evident that these are Ceodwellians!

A little bit of pressure later new information surfaces; these are Ceodwellian Singularists of various noble and army ranks, who, hearing of their fellow worshippers' plea, decided to join their ranks. You also learn that nearby walled town of Uinach was a rallying point for them.

Truly, the overtly successful victory brins only bad news. After a council with your officers, there's some decision time...

About involvement of Ceodwellians...

A) Send a letter warning your uncles that if their people continue to get involved in your lands, you will do so too - in theirs.
B) WAR UPON CEODWELLS, THEIR WIVES, THEIR COWS!...
C) Send a letter demanding the Ceodwell Royalty pays in wealth for their subjects' rebellious behavior.
D) Do nothing, it's evident that the Royalty has nothing to do and no one can really rein in few hundred zealots.

About next move in the war...

A) Let's swoop and cleanse Uidach out of possible Singularist remnants!
B) Send some cavalry to check Uidach while the rest joins with Feodh at Luathbas.
C) Time to rest and await Pantheonist fodder to join us.

You quickly send two messengers; one to King Eón, asking to provide help or better yet, take care of northern rebels, and one of the Archpriest of Pantheonists, informing him that it would be best time to provide support if he wants the deal to come to fruition.

Two more days pass and finally there's a change in Singularist behavior - they're marching head-on against you! Scouts report that there is almost three thousand poorly equipped rebels with about five hundred of actual soldiers, horsemen and officers.

In few hours, the battle wil lbe joined, so you make a battle plan with your officers...

A) Seize a hill! Turtle up! Leisurely await their approach.
B) One part of the Army hits the center, the other hits the flank.
C) What's there to plan? We take our thousands of horsemen and smash right into the rebel horde!

Needs more votes to break the second option tie ;v

You call up the Designmaster's office and tell him that you need a fast baot that can take down torpedo boats but will be able to withstand few hits.

Designmaster does not respond, but you can hear his heavy breathing on the other side.

A) "And to lessen your burdens, you can drop working on... (specify design here)."
B) "And do not worry, the Parliament will be increasing Admiralty's budget, and thus I will devote the new funds to expand your department."

9519
You attempt to scare the onlookers into your little 'fellowship'.

They all run up to you and fall to your feet.

"Oh spare us, for we have been corrupt, but we have seen the errors of our ways!" You make a little inner squee - your heresy now is 11 people strong!

So what's next?

A) Go down the streets, preaching and asking others to join.
B) Scamper into safety of the alleys, telling your newest attendants to spread the word.
C) Locate nearest Triangularism temple and threaten to make example of it.

You decide to not go to what is obviously a cheap assassination attempt. Or something.

You continue to run with your horsemen after the hostiles, before a messenger brings a message from the north - several cities banded together in support of Singularist faith! They decalred that they will not follow a man that tosses away decades of religious peace in name of 'balance'.

Emergency council is hosted with your officers, Eidach and Atan.

"We should call Feodh to split his forces and march against the northern rebels." Say the officers.

"We could ask our liege to swing by the north and bring the rebels to order." Says Eidach.

"We should pick one side of the conflict - if some cities rebelled in name of Singularism, who is to say some others won't do the same in support of Acceptancy?" Says Atan.

As for handling the northern rebellion...

A) Feodh can split his forces; he has plenty of foot to go siegeing several settlements at once!
B) Feodh should keep around Luathbas - but its time to ask King Eón to help us against the rebels.
C) In time we will deal with it. It's not that bad. Let's concentrate on the south first.

As for picking up sides...

A) NEVER!
B) Let's offer Singularists some favors if they join the Crown against Acceptants.
C) Let's offer Acceptants some favors if they join the Crown against Singularists.
D) Let's call up Pantheonists to provide numbers against other cultists.

//No split votes ;v

14/1/5 with general score of slightly over 6.

I'm not surprised.

You tell Atan that you will wait for Ulan and so will he. He looks visibly annoyed but says nothing.

You then ask a messenger to go and bring offer to the heretics - amnesty if they lay down their arms and surrender.

Quote
5to6

The messenger is back in three days; having found the group, he was first captured, questioned, and then let go with a reply:

"If the Duke himself wishes to grant us amnesty, let him meet one of us in the glade south of the city of Baen in three nights, and then he will be brought to speak with our leaders in hiding. If the Duke does not trust us with the meeting, thus we won't trust the Duke, and would rather die fighting for our faith which the Duke mistakenly believes to be his enemy!" The messenger recites from the paper.

A) Truly, they're mad! Let's just bring the loony bunch down in mighty battle and be done with it.
B) Someone has to make the first (risky) step, and it will be me! Let's attend the meeting with one of the Singularists.

9524
BTW I still need few more votes cuz BA and BB are tied at 5 votes each ;v
