You decide to punish the city hall and its workers with cleansing flames!!

Quote
11*

You call upon the powers of Cuneiformism and a fiery lance descends from the heaven with piercing shriek. It slams into the roof of the city hall, exploding the upper floor and sending flaming chunks of debris onto the nearby houses, flattening and/or setting them on fire.

You hear horryfying shrieks of some councillors, the few lucky ones near the windows, when they, as well on fire, jump out of the windows in vain attempt to survive.

Before you know it, several nearby buildings have collapsed to ruin while even more are on fire, their occupants fleeing. Most of passerbies flee away from you as well, screaming in panic, while few of them - including couple of guards - look at you intently with awe-struck, or confused (or both) faces.

You decide to...

A) Scamper into safety before the guards (or the flames) get you.
B) Preach an explanation to the remaining few, warning them to join or suffer the fate of the corrupt ones.

You decide to call up your miraculous powers!

What kinda miracle/fireworks/disaster shall you bring upon city councillors inside the hall?

Describe it!

You walk into the city hall, and begin yelling at the officials that if they won't change their ways and abandon the corrupt Trigonometrism, doom and death will befall them!

A pair of guards escorts you out and pushes you onto the streets of the city. Such insult!

A) Time to go preach to the masses, rouse the proletariat, or something!
B) Time to show just what terrible mistake they made - let's call up your divine powers!!
C) Time to go quietly convince some influential noblemen over herbal brew and sweet pastries.

You are Gusvald Vivaldar, and you just woke up. It's been a day since the divine being asked you to remove the corrupt, false faith that reigns this land, and by will of the supernaturals, you will do it! You will convert the nation to the ancient, now-forgotten Cuneiformism. The corrupt Trigonometrism must go!

First you must decide how to start the heresy proper - of course, first and foremost, you need some followers.

A) Let's begin by going to market square and preaching to the masses.
B) Let's show up unannounced at some wealthy person's door and convince them of Trigonometric failure.
C) Let's show up at city hall and demand they convert, less you bring a disaster upon their heads.

First of all, please give your name: _____

Secondly, pick a properly heretical nickname, epithet or title: _____

Thirdly, pick a setting of the world you live in:

Feudal/1100s: Lords and warlords rule with iron-fist over commoners, fat clergymen preach asceticism while swimming in riches.
Renaissance/1400s: Great thinkers move the world forward while extremely influential priesthood hunts down heretics to burn them on stakes.
Musket/1700s: Sciences replace alchemy and occultism, gunpowder reigns supreme and religion slowly loses in importance - and then you show up.

Then pick your Major (+2) and Minor (+1) skills (can't be the same) from the ones listed below:

1A) Prophecies: ability to discern future events from signs and omens.
1B) Miracles: ability to bend the forces of nature to your will.
1C) Charisma: ability to befriend and influence common people with your speeches.
1D) Philosophy: ability to debate with influential people about things.
1E) Theology: ability to point out mistakes in the scriptures of other faiths.
1F) Combat: ability to punch people's faces in when all other options fail.

The decision to become preacher of the heresy came up in your heart and mind because...

2A) You've read the holy books many times and came to a simple conclusion: they're full of crap!
2B) One night a holy being appeared in your dream, granting you power to deal with the corrupt faith.
2C) You read your own fortune, and the arcane items placed you, out of all the people, at the steer of Ship of Faith.

Before you were 'enlightened', you were living as a...

3A) Commoner, toiling everyday with your fellow, hard-working commoners.
3B) Scribe, working at a local temple, scribbling down sermons and copying holy texts.
3C) Astrologer, telling people things about their future which you've read from heavenly omens and phenomenons.
3D) Merchant, often selling items to influential noblemen, clergy and scholars.
3E) Philosopher, debating the nature of the world and universe with passerbies and scholars alike.
3F) Nobleman, feasting upon grapes of luxury, reclining in your opulent recliner.
3G) Officer, a minor one at that, relaying orders of your superiors to the lesser ranks of the local garrison.

Your heresy is based upon...

4A) Irreconcilable discrepancies with the local religion.
4B) Ancient, mystical cult that once was widely spread amongst locals before the current faith replaced it.
4C) Extreme desire to topple the current, corrupt church and upon its ashes, rebuild the faith in a way it always should've been!
4D) Work of an earlier heretic, who got lots of attention but ultimately ended roasted on a stake along with his comrades.
4E) Synergy of local and foreign faiths, brought to you by merchants and other travelers.

THE CHOOSEN ONE IS:
Name: Gusvald Vivaldar
Title: The Secret Keeper.
Setting: Feudal.
Major: 1B Miracles.
Minor: 1D Philosophy
Why?: 2B A holy being.
Used to be A: 3E Philosopher
Heresy!!!: 4B A Ancient, Mystical Cult!

You promise to develop a torpedo boat destroyer ship, fast enough to catch up with them, sturdy enough to withstand their armaments. Lord Enval thanks you profusely and hopes the design will bring fruit.

After he leaves, you decide it is time to phone call someone, and that someone will be...

A) The Designmaster.
B) Yardmaster of Dabblin.
