I have no clue why this was. I was just killing like normal.
Ok so that was a question and a story, can't help it gotta share these things!
So incase the question was lost in all that it is: How do you heal in adventure mode? lots of sleep?

So anyway, I have started with a human Swordsman named Uzu Ormamater "Uzu Martyredpaints" and decided I would start up an adventuring groupe using the local town drunks.
Now I'm off on a quest to kill some pike guy (He with probly kick my ass) One drunk ran off after a skeleton so I think Ok he is so dead... wrong the Drunk charges the skeleton knocking him over and proceeds to puch the living(dead?) crap out of it. He finnaly finishes him off with a puch to the lower body causeing it to "fly of in an arc".

1. Weapon skills.
A. Does it increase the damage you deal? How likely you are to hit a vital part of an opponents body? How often you get a counterstrike after a missed or blocked opponents attack?
2. Shield skill.
I take it that it probobly makes you better at blocking shots, but does it help you when you try to hit someone with your shield?
3. Armor skill.
Does it make your armor more likly to stop attacks? Does it encumber you less? What increses it?
4. Wrestling skill.
Does it help you doge attacks? Does it help you counterstrike? How does it affect your actual wrestling?
5. Ambushing skill.
Um. yeah, what does it do? the only thing I can think of is that somtimes people attack others from the side or from behind, is that what it does? and if so, how much does that help your attacks?
6. Fortress skills. (Crafting and non weapon professions)
I assume that they help your dwarfs make things faster and make things better? But I have to ask anyways.
7. Toughness and Agility.
Not really skills as such but they are on the same screen and seem to affect you in some way. So what does toughness and agility affect? (Both in adventure mode and fortress mode).
Well thats all the qestions I can think of about skills for now, but if I think of anymore I wont hessitate to ask.
Keep up the good work Toady!

So I think "Hey thats kind of cool, I wonder why that person had that happen to them?" I go on to look at my historic figures section now to reveiw the names of my hapless drunks killed by skeletons (yet agian). Then I see an entre from Maga Lustdoom, I think "excellent mabye I can find out what this person did to deserve being encased". sure enough I find out, in the first line it says "Maga Lustdoom was a demon". Aha! It makes perfect sense! who else but a demon would be encased in somthing in a time before time?
So now on to the question (yes i do like to have a story go along with almost anything I post, even a question.
). (and I out smilies in brackets to,
).
Oh and btw I think it was a random peasant who told me this in one of my adventure games(somtimes I just ask about surrounding a whole lot so that I can hear about somthing new and I guess I just missed this one in game.)
Ok.
So I am wondering is this type of thing put in just to give your world some background history and ledgends? or is it possible to actually seek out the demons from a "time before time"? or will it be at some point?
Another question.
Can you find big creatures like dragons in adventure mode? or even find demons that arn't the ones from myths?
And lastly, has anyone else uncovered events like this while playing? Things in the ledgends screen that are differnt from art, foundings, who killed who and such?
