Gotta love one shot and dead!

Quick Question: I think I have the worst thing ever, a berserk rage vampire!
I don't know if he's a vampire but he's not starving/thirsty this whole time (I walled him in as I knew he wouldn't get shells in this frozen fort.) I've never walled in a berserk, usually I just slay him quickly. So is it normal not to starve or dehydrate? Or is this a Vamp!?

I'll take a go at it. PM when it's my turn!

Conclusion:
Zero.  Creatures flung by a bridge do not travel upwards any Z levels, they only move sideways before falling down.

I've attempted but never had this work properly. Posting to see if anyone actually has.

How much height would flinging them off a bridge add to that? I seem to recall that creatures on a bridge that raises will be launched.

About 1-3 z-levels. See next two posts.

I don't think it's so much "you can only stand here", it's more, "you can only interact with the stuff here."
So was it a designated meeting area?
And yes, turning off their labors helps free up their time so they can ask for more wood from Mountainhome.

I think when the student becomes the master situation, that could be due to how smart the dwarf is. Spatial relation, memory, feel for their body, intuition - all that stuff. But honestly, I'm not THAT much of a micro-mang to only place such and such a personality in the militia. End of the day they are meat shields.

DF Gameplay Questions / Re: Huge migrant waves with low wealth

If I could ask for one fix to the game, which I love, it would be the option to have smaller migrations.

Agree. Smaller migrations. Is there a way to mod this? Only max 10 dwarfs per wave or something.

WRONG! The queen consort is married to the queen, and king consort to the king. Just thought I'd clear that up.

Apparently not in DF.

Double awesome because her son Reg was one of the first immigrants, who's now my 3rd best axedwarf, and weird because the liaison immigrated too (hence why no liaison on civ's listing.) Just need the two middle children and the king and I'll be Mountainhome!
