So I just had my first siege, and it was by some Frost Giants..... nine total actually.... not fun.

My two legendary +5 wrestler/level 2 swordsmen were set up near my entrance... I hadn't gotten any traps or ballista defenses yet, but they were decked out in steel armor and weapons. Right before the frost giants get there, one of them leaves to go get a drink  . My remaining champion fought valiantly, and killed two giants before dieing. He also maimed four of them to the point of them passing out and not being able to do anything because of lack of arms. Right before the evil giants got to my actual fort, I had JUST gotten a lever hooked up that closed of the entrance. I closed it off, and waited. A caravan arrived, and I drafted ALL my dwarves into the military and stationed them as far off as I could. I opened the entrance, and let the caravan deal with the remaining three giants (seven? I don't really know if the kills they got from the passed out giants should count....). Somehow my remaining champion joined in the fray and managed to get a kill. I am going to build a shrine to the champion that died, because even though he only managed two kills, he did disable four of them and bought time for the lever to be set up and pulled. The worst moment from him is probably when the five wrestlers and three spear men were dog piled on him beating the shit out of him, yet he somehow kept from being injured for a good 20-30 seconds before he lost his shield hand, and then he got owned.

Normally when I "grief" it IS because of an IC reason. Adhesive just... didn't care. Adhesive doesn't really post on the forums, but me and him have a HUGE flame war in the game. He doesn't like that I bitch when I get griefed. I think another count of the grief would be when I killed him for absolutely no reason when he said that HE didn't bitch about being griefed. I will admit to doing that, because what he said was just retarded, and I wanted to prove him wrong. Then again, only four people were online, and when he put in a restart vote (after bitching whoever griefed him out (he didn't know it was me)) I voted yes.

EDIT: Guess I know who Phoebos is now... I think my first ban was.... when I was banned for multi-key because of the "cannot connect to hub right, will log you in as guest" glitch.... hmm....

EDIT2: Also notice how it doesn't even actually explain any of the cases of actual griefing? I would assume a format would be more like:

(person banned) (ip) (time) (admin who banned) (reason: (what was witinessed, if many explain some and then put "and more") (what other players have said person has done) (adminhelp log, or a small chat log of the incident that show the grief was real (you would have to trust your admins, as it can be faked))

What was the description? Cause the person who banned me was Adhesive, and he REALLY doesn't like me so it may not all even be true.

Free Allegiance was a microsoft game but they dropped support and released it open source, fans got it back up and running and it's now free. A bit like Savage 2 but you fly different spaceships in a semi-realistic space simulator with missiles and lasers and all that good stuff. One player on each team yet again handles the game like an RTS running the economy and the overarching strategy.

How active is the community? I just got on, played a game with eight people, and now only one person is on and they are afk.

You know what, I am not even going to discuss this anymore. I am trying to turn over a new leaf and be more mature. I will try to stop assholish comments and think before I say anything on the forums anymore. Too many people like to pick someone and badmouth them, and when they do something wrong, change the topic back to them. Hell, if this means I have to get a new forum account and byond account name, so be it. I will not participate in these childish taunting anymore, because It brings us no-where. Someone tells me off, I feel hurt and tell them off, they feel hurt and tell me off, etc. etc. etc.

Ok, whoever gave Adhesive admin is.... just no. He banned me for smacking the chemist with a fire extinguisher, who had stolen from genetics! I called security, they didn't come, and I told him to give it back or I would take it back. I hit him, he splashed me with acid, so I get pissed off and hit him again until he is unconcious. He drops a incindiary grenade and kills four people, and I get banned? No! Hell, he didn't even tell me I was going to get banned, he just said something along the lines of "HUR DUR DUR (That part IS exact, he HUR DUR DUR'd me), I SAW YOU HIT HIM WITH THE EXTINGUISHER" I said, "HUR DUR DUR, ITS GENETICS HE COULD HAVE STOLEN SOMETHING IMPORTANT!" *ban*

EDIT: OK, fine, he unbanned me right after I was banned... then again if he was going to do that, why the fuck didn't he just kick me? I don't know... just don't know.

EDIT2: Ok, banned again. I log on, ask in a completely non shitty way how he can ban me, but not ban Tipps considering what Tipps does when no admins are on (Adhesive has been their when Tipps has griefed a very large amount of people when Adhesive wasn't an admin) and, ban. Hell, he didn't even PM me or talk in ooc after I said that question, it was just, *ban*.
