and later:
"Don't fly that fast!"
"Honestly, Rincewind, the only thing we could hit in this height would be a cloud filled with stones..."

reminds me of terry pratchett's the light fantastic, when they come to the "forest of skund", with "skund" meaning as much as "Don't touch me, Idiot!" :D

I wanted to image post, but oh well, it's not all that interesting, only the name... it's a strip of evil-aligned swamp:

Currently genning a fresh world, the region I'm looking at now..., well, BEHOLD:
"The Calamitous Goo"
I think I will pit an adventurer in there and then build a fort-sized shrine in his memory there... hehe...

that will be epic, yeah...

hehe...

On another Fort, I'd managed to build part of the upper Fort when I got interrupted by an incoming siege. my axedwarfs made short process of it, now if I could just think of an easy way to get rid of all the shit they're carrying... will probably build giant retractable bridge areas, suspended by iron pillars over a magma reservoir. only thing which will be left then is to drain the magma and melt the s**t out of the iron stuff they probably have with them...

EDIT: started human adventurer Anger Othagothag Othagothagothagothag Othag, also known as Anger Angeranger the Angry Angry Angry-Anger of Anger

He seems to be mad at something.

sounds more like a modding error to me... check for their raws, if it says [DRAGONFIREBREATH] in the creature raws of the goblins, the guy you got your game from was trying to goblinroll you...

have you designated burrows? I found those cause crashes at times...

found out a lot of awesome stuff:
1. if you kill the zombie groundhogs on my map, new ones will spread from the map edges... as much bones as I want  :)
2. if you appoint a noble, it can occur that a dwarf displays this action in his artworks  ;D
3. (actually a question) I have found that my dwarves are earing snow from outside in my aboveground fort, is this preventable with the help of a burning lignite bin? :D if yes, also awesome ;)

Furthermore, I managed to make an all-bauxite room with windows composed of ruby and star ruby, which looked pretty cool until the dwarves got the snow there, too...

So, according to an email from Baboonanza VF is most likely dead, he has't even time to play DF. (sorry guys)
He recommends Stonesense  :-[

the craftsdwarf stuff is currently strange in a way that a lot of things are created from iron. also got an iron artifact without iron in the grabbed materials ;) still, pretty weird :D

I'm having my first goblin ambush which could leave the fort partly alive, and by looking into the combat reports, i found out that my dwarves are now throwing stuff in combat, namely training spears in this case. I can't decide what to find more awesome, this one or the fact that crossbowguys can't kill an entire fort anymore when there's no military.  ;D

i think iron men should be allowed in the tournament, but only with inferior equipment (maybe no armor at all) and no skills, since they have a natural armour far better than one could purchase with his hundred points...

that second video is dublicate of the first one ;)

also, i wanna have my (i think the post shortly before the fight has been ignored, so I'd think it is 20 points now?) 20 points spent on dodging skill, boosting it to expert  8) (leaving 2 points)

may I join in the second tournament, too? that'd be with:

Name: EvilTwin
Species: Gorilla, male
Skills: Master Biter (89)
Equips: Aluminium Shield (if that counts as the 3 point item category, else i wanna have a blood thorn one) -> (11 points)

100 points used.
