yeaa i think my current fortress is doomed. im just gona drown all my dwarves now cause they are gona all go insane eventually anyway..soo anyone have a guide for making these elaborate traps?

is there a place where i can go to find some guides for stuff like water and magma traps, the wiki isnt very clear and im getting kinda confused.

im also having another problem. if some of my dwarves die during a siege the rest of my dwarves get angry and then they go insane. i mean im not dying from the siege i lose more dwarves from them going insane than from them running outside to die yea.

is there a way to keep non fighting dwarfs from rushing outside and dying when i get attacked or do i have to lock the doors so they dont come out?

i noticed that when invaders attack they cant go through locked doors and when there is a siege, the invaders dont path to your fort unless the doors are unlocked.  so wouldnt it be pretty much impossible to lose since i can just keep the doors open until the invaders arrive  on my doorstep then lock the doors and shoot them from some towers until they are all dead?

also is there a way to automatically unforbid the items dropped from corpses cause its really annoying having to claim all of them.

if there is a newer version of this mod would i be able to put a save game from an older version and play it on the newer one or would i have to start a new game.

if i had the invasions options under the ini off would sieges and invasions restart after i turn it back on again in this mod? ive heard that sieges supposidly start after u hit 80 population but since im already at like 120 or so would i have missed the chance for the siege triggers and stuff to activate. 

I mean like since economy, magma smelters and stuff seem to work under this activate on something happened thing i just want to make sure that sieges and invasions are gona happen cause if they arnt im just gona start a new fortress.

i built a well over an underground water source but it keeps saying my that there is no water source when my dwarfs are trying to get water for injured dwarfs. im pretty sure the well is working cause it says active not dry when i click on it.  am i doing something wrong or is my well just not working

im trying to build the magma smelter but i cant find it on my build list. the wiki says to press b - e- l but i dont have the "l" option i only have wood furnace, smelter, glass funace, and kiln under my furnace options

ahh yes thx that worked but my 2nd question is how do i get access to the new metals and stone that you modded in other than from the embark screen i used a revealer to look at the layout but i dont see anything cept the original stones.  or can i only get them from trading
