For one thing, small states need to be, in game parlance, nerfed. Why, exactly, are Wyomingites 65 times more politically important than Californians? Just because 250 years ago some Rhode Islanders held twelve other colonies hostage unless they got to pretend they were a real state?How would this actually fix any of the real, existent problems with our political system? Same for your other solution - how would it actually help? What would it accomplish?
What would be the practical benefits to making these changes?
Not every reform has to be practical, and this reform would fit in with the idea of Equal representation, which currently does not exist in the senate due to the fact that they are guaranteed two senators for just being there.
Granted, It would not be as efficient as abolishing state senator districts and drawing national senator districts, but it would be a significant improvement on the representation side of things. While it does not address all flaws with the current system, It does address a minor problem, which is much more realistic than expecting a large political reformation.
As, as a reminder to everyone, reviving people to run the country will only lead to the rebellion of the ducks, which should be avoided at all costs. (but seriously though, if we want reform we shouldn't rely on a guy whose been dead for any amount of time.

Individual plans tend to be nigh-useless bits of paper that are sold to the naive or the elderly by phone or door-to-door solicitors. Generally, they cover virtually nothing, and serve the sole purpose of scamming premiums. In other words, exactly the kind of policies that we are trying to get rid of.
To put in perspective, this is .5 to .75 of 14 million people. The American Population is 313 million. This only affects half of 4 percent of the population, assuming that the prediction is true.

« on: October 19, 2013, 08:02:38 pm »Good times were had! I think there were 3 games played, a 1v1 with me and Graknorke, with me as Asia and him as Africa. It was a stomp by me. Then there was diplomacy. I was south america, Karlito was Africa, Graknorke was Europe, and bulborbish was Asia. It was a 6 player diplomacy with 2 AI's Asia AI was eliminated from the game instantly, then me and Africa allied temporarily to destroy Russia, Europe joined Russia, a bit of fighting between the alliances. Then Africa backstabs me, and game ends with North america AI winning. Then there was a BigWorld game, with just tons of nuking, stealth subs, and me winning in the end despite having the least survivors. I was Africa, bulborbish in his name was Europe, Graknorke was Asia, and Gentleman raptor was Russia. Game starts, I fight with Asia for a bit. Ally with Europe, fight, backstabbed by Europe. Europe and Asia ally. Fight for a bit. Me and Russia Ally. We nuke the shit out of china. Game ends with more nukes in Africa because overkill.
First off, I was in Russia in game 2
Second off, I insist, despite your point victory, that I won in the end win a 40% survival rate, compared to everyone else's 12% or lower survival rate (werty's being the lowest at 5% survival rate) in game 3. Gentleman Raptor was also the most adept at Killing his own civilians, with a 13% collateral damage rate.
