Bulborb Approve Novoto.

Maybe more side areas and stuff?

I'd love suggestions, but I could only come up with 2 Side areas, and both were post game.

In other News,
Spoiler:  Map the Second (click to show/hide)

Working On new map, will complete in 15 minutes.

Also, any commentary on the movesets I posted (Page 109) or Super Moderato being Psychic type. Also, Name is sought for Super Moderato, and I'm one, uncreative, little man.

It looks pretty nice, but could you perhaps connect 30 and 22.5 somehow? Those dead-end pathways always annoyed me for some reason. If their separated due to reasons of plot, then just separate them with a ledge. That way the player can move from 30 to 22.5, but not the other way around. Other than that I can't really think of anything, except perhaps having the island/continent extend past the western/north-western map border. Random wastes next to the ocean doesn't really seem right to me for some reason.

30 is a cave, Inside a mountain. There is just no opening into the Grove is all.

And I blame the wastes on a rain shadow from Mt. Planepacked.

Well, out of frustration with my non-functional scanner, I have crafted with my -Novice Painter- skill a xWorld Mapx

Spoiler: xWorld Mapx (click to show/hide)

Also, a code for the locations listed on, because why not

Code: [Select]
1. Mayday Village
 2. Bluerobin Cave
 3. Unnamed Deeproad
 4. Headshoots
 5. Syrupleaf

16. Ironhand City
17. Unnamed Road
18. Abandoned Trail

Unnamed stuff is unnamed, because Bulborbish lacks significant name-based creativity.

In other, moveset related requests, I haven't made a Super-moderate moveset, but I am having trouble choosing a type. I am tempted to make it a Psychic type (to complete the advantage triangle), but wanted to run it by you guys before I started.

EDIT: Also, wiki edit is being made for new beasts.

471
And if Atk = Def then he becomes Super-Moderato (he doesn't give a shit)!

BRB got to make a new moveset.

472
A stat evolution would work. So (throwing it out there), it could be

Moderato evolves into Conservante at Level 18 if Atk<Sp.Atk, otherwise it evolves into Liberello.

473
High wisdom, low heat = Conservante; Low wisdom, high heart = Liberello?

So, how does this translate into pokemon evolutions exactly?

474
Sorry Bulborbish, but Fireref and Leafgreen don't have a day/ night cycle

Oops, playing too much Ruby lately, and I assumed it had a Day/Night Cycle so you could get the alternative eevee evolutions. Pondering alternative split evolutions that don't involve stones.

- Welcome to the LCS Bayobeast, now with music puns
- Moderato Evolves into Liberello or Conserante at Level 18, Liberello if day, Conserante if night.
- Moderato is Normal Type, color scheme is grey-ish
- Liberello is Fighting Type, color scheme is green
- Conserante is Dark Type, color scheme is red
- I justify Uproar with the music puns.

There was supposed to be a sprite here, but it sucked so Bulborbish felt like it needed improvement before posting.

There was supposed to be a sketch of a world map here, but my scanner is not functioning right now, so you don't get any.

476
Added all movesets I made to the wiki, Should have a (extremely) large update for you folks tomorrow, including:

 - A new bayobeast (or 3)
 - Even More Movesets
 - A primitive world map
 - Another suckish sprite (for something else, though)

Incidentally, I become inactive during periods of high review/homework that my school assigns me.

General Discussion / Re: SCOTUS to hear "Obama Care" case next week
« on: March 29, 2012, 11:37:42 am »
Sure, health insurance in the United States is pretty ridiculous and prices are pretty high, but the best way to discourage that kind of behavior is with the free market.

Just a nitpik, Knight, but Health Care prices can only go down if more, not less, people are in the system. The rates that are charged to all customers go into the insurance company's coffers, which then distribute the service to insurance claimaints. The more people that you have paying into an insurance companies coffers, the easier it is to reduce rates, because less money overall is required to cover the minor increase in claimants.

The idea of the Insurance mandate was that if you had everyone paying into some insurance companies coffers, that prices would drop around the board. This is relying on the new additions of the currently uninsured (20 million is the last statistic that I recall), growing the coffer base.

Of course, all of this is mostly conjecture, and any real results probably won't be seen for a few years after implementation in 2014 (if, of course, it survives the court case).

FAKEEDIT: GRRR, Stop posting before me.

On a side note, a single player system (or a federal insurance plan) would see increased benefits, as now all people pay into one , huge, coffer. Of course, this is interpreted as socialist, so has a tough time seeing implementation in the US.

Spoiler: Magman (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Hieman (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Wambler (click to show/hide)

Ok, Made slight adjustments.

I gave wambler Guillotine.
I gave preliminary movesets for Hieman and Magman, assuming, of course, that they can breed (which ditto, by the way, only worked on pokemon with defined genders.) I saw them as Asexual pokemon, hence previous moveset.

479
I still think Gianbane should learn Guillotine at some point. Also I notice that Magman Hieman and Wambler's sets don't seem to be accounting for moves that they will automatically know if hatched from an egg?
I was under the impression that Hieman and Magman were Asexual, so didn't build it around that.

The Point of wambler was that it only knew struggle until level 17, and was completely useless at that time. And I thought only Gianbane would have insane stats, not insta kills.
