DF Suggestions / Solution to the engraver-miner trantum problem

We all had our dining halls/sleeping quarters anihalated  by a trantuming craftsdwarf because we defaced his masterwork, so here i present the solution:

When a smoothed wall is mined it should yield blocks instead of raw stone.
When an engraved wall is mined it should yield something like a "Stone tablet" with the engraving on it, which could then be traded, used to decorate something else or be stored in a primitive library.
Also it would be a cool idea to be able to make tablets from blocks.

So
wall+smooth+mine=block
wall+smooth+engrave+mine=tablet
block+engrave=tablet

Somehow it seems a little wrong to have the playground guarded by hordes of wardogs and floor traps.

Weirdest trantum: masterpiece craft stolen by kobold from the room of the craftsdwarf(all of my dogs exept 3 puppies died in a demon attack lately). craftsdwarf trantums, throws a piece of stone in the magma, runs to the end of the housing block, punches he thief in the face, smashing it into red entirely. then he breaks the guys wrist, thief flees but gets shredded by weapon traps(into about 20 chunks, 8 loose limps and an entire corridor of blood), pissed off dwarf runs to magma forge area(where all my industry is), picks up another of his own masterpieces and tosses it in the magma!

Siege arrives, world gets incinerated. stupid angry dwarf runs over to the front door and breaks it! then he calms down and moves back to the smelter operations.

His last thought befoe the wave of liquid stone devoured him was "Oh no, the masterpiece that was still on the shredded kobold got molten! Brb, throwing trantum"

In my experience a 2x2 map on a standard map with 110k world pop(made a typo and ended up with humans being able to have 10 times more people in a civ then intended) is just as fast as a 2x2 in a pocket with the same conditions. It's just saving and loading that takes longer.

I realy like the smaller(understatement; i <3 my insta gen pockets) worlds but i also look forward to having 2-3 civs battle it out on a huge 513x513 or even a 1025x1025 map over the course of several millenia. That and i just want to see the  crazy things the generator comes up with when making something much larger then intended. Free +GCS silk sock+ for the first person who gets a mountain range or ocean that resembles something funny.

So the actual suggestion:
Gigantic
Huge
Larger
Large
Standard
Medium
Small
Smaller
Pocket
Portable

Perhaps with a warning on the title/gen screen that anything larger then "standard" is not supported fully/at all.

I regulary pack over 150 stones as ammo, perhaps the limit is 10 "big(all furniture and barrels/bins/mechs/pipes etc)" items, same way as workshops get cluttered faster by statues then earrings.

This gives us the possibility to stuff 20 or so goblins in a bag and then open it in a funny place. I approve of this suggestion.

When building smomething out of wood you end up using all 25 types available on your map anyway unless you are realy picky so who should bone be different?

The "bank" for "spare" npcs sounds good but you still need to keep them fed. So you need a farm in your cave and if your a dorf you need a brewery etc.

What crimes are you trying to scare away with killing other dwarves?
Trantums? Execute somebody's relative and see how many trantums you avoided.
Production violations? As if you got any form of control about that anyway.
Export violations? Same as production violations.
