Do you have a family history of diabetes?

If not, she's just being paranoid. If so, then she has a legitimate reason to worry.

Unless you're overweight, though, it's probably not going to affect you.

The particular variety of "plywood" he was using is actually known as particle board to the professionals, at least if I saw it correctly. It's the cheapest form of plywood-like material, and it's a lot weaker than real plywood, which is thicker and made with larger pieces of wood.

If he had tried that with actual plywood, he would have given himself a concussion.

Unfortunately, calling him a moron would defeat the entire purpose of our debates, which is to prove how much better we are than each other. You can't prove how much better you are than someone by calling them a moron, no matter how many people believe that.

Anyway, he did concede defeat on this particular topic, and said that next time he'd get the better of me. Hopefully this time it won't be something so pointless.

Also, I figured Tavi would look a little more filled out than that.

We could have a pass-around "jury duty" where people who have been on a sufficiently long time will randomly be chosen to moderate for a few days. Anyone who abuses the power can be permanently removed from the list by a vote. It would be annoying, like actual jury duty, but it could help spread the burden around.

The way he worded it he seems to be implying that the whole clopping thing is acting as a gateway drug to the "harder" real-life stuff. His presented evidence is a few porn sites suddenly allowing bestiality, and at least one *chan suddenly springing up with a beast board.

I think I'm just going to point out that he can't prove any correlation as well as the fact that the internet itself has been getting increalingly progressive, with furries not being hated on nearly as much as an example.

Thanks for listening to my insanity.

Actually, CAPTCHA uses two randomized words from scanned volumes of old newspapers with lines drawn through them in an attempt to use people to digitalize the issues. I think that the captcha might actually take anything you input as long as it's somewhat reasonable.

My arguing acquaintance (we debate over random topics a lot) who lurks the dark underbelly of the internet has made a claim that the rise in popularity of My Little Pony seems to have caused a surge of zoophilia.

Anyone happen to know where I can get statistics to put up a good counterargument? Or possibly find out he's right?

It's 3 weeks.

That's going to be hell to wait. But we've done it before, and we can do it again.

Glad I checked out EqD.

October 15th, baby! Set your calendars!
http://www.equestriadaily.com/2011/09/episode-3-to-air-on-october-15th.html

Very brief plot synopsis, not really spoilery but don't read if you want it to be a complete and total surprise.

Nice.

It's too bad I can't afford the nice shirts, I'm lucky I can afford Goodwill, and I doubt anyone's going to put an awesome pony shirt up for donation.

Unfortunately, it's the way the world works.

Ghandi (correct me if I'm wrong) said it best: "first, they ignore us, then, they laugh at us, then, they attack us, then we win."

It's interesting how quickly they've been moving to the attack part recently, though. It's a sign of deepening oppression.

Okay, couple of suggestions, nothing major though.

1. The opening sentence is a little long and slightly confusing. Perhaps a shortened rephrase or split would help it to flow a little better.

2. This one's more of a pet peeve of mine, but if you're going to state measurements don't use the same name for two different units. Unless the pony missed a nearly point-blank target by a greater distance than he can run in several seconds, there's no way the two were using the same unit.

Now that that's done, the good news:
The story is very well-written and captivating. One could almost imagine being there with the poor bastard.

Keep going, you've got me hooked.

PS: Epic shirt is epic.

That's a good point about the chapters. I'm making a gap between the two plot arcs, tell me if it looks okay or I should change it up. Other than that, I think they stand well enough.

Any other tips from any other people would be appreciated.

I get most of my images off of sites with explicit content. That's nothing compared to the horrors I've seen.

Cure for brain bleach: B'AAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

That, however, is something.  :'(

Anyway, link to my story for suggestions/revisions/unwarranted praise/etc.:

It's shipping/grimdark with a few OCs.

If anyone's an artist, feel free to draw a picture since it would help the guys at EqD.

My post was a joke. Probably should have indicated as such.

Anyway, I don't.
