Since people seem to be demanding the inclusion of their own unimportant nobody characters, you should include my unimportant nobody character, Richard Scherer, irresponsible research director who frequently dissapears completely for a month or more and smokes constantly.

Speaking of errors, I checked atmos that round to make sure the vents wouldn't ALSO spew plasma at me, and noticed the computer for the mixed air tank couldn't detect the actual tank, which is, y'know, kinda bad.  Not sure if it does that every round, but someone should look into it.
Speaking of speaking of errors I spoke of, I noticed there seems to be no air control console in the CMO's office.  How is rogue AI supposed to murder Runtime without air controls?  I admit that I might also just be missing it.

In my defense, I spent most of the round cleaning up plasma, then fixing the bomb site, so I never even SAW Feren until I was melted in genetics.  Once Alder mentioned Feren being dead I described you to someone in a full sec hardsuit.  I heard gunfire in genetics and ran in.  I quickly realised you had eye protection, so I bolted the doors to trap you. You promptly melted your own face off.  After that Hec hid me in the escape coffin, but one of the three blobs sealed me off, and Hec spent the rest of the round robusting Blob Spores and running from giant spiders.  B Borg was getting mad, there was just plasma everywhere, including an atmospheric anomaly spewing fiery plasma in the custodial closet.

You didn't even get to build the shrine for your medal.

After that round, was AI by myself, trying to figure out atmospherics.  Got a thing.  http://puu.sh/5hVrl.png  Screwed up atmosphere alarm?

I claim Shim.

Shim is blue, and a unicorn.  He's a stupid baby.

Diary of Shim, (date illegible).

(All text is illegible.  Particularly coherent crayon squiggle in red may be an effort to record the dragon.  Small blue sawhorse-shaped figure below the red figure may represent a pony, possibly Shim.)

Also, I quit Duskfields.  I'm tired of all the bullshit.

Shim dies from starvation.

I fixed it.  Installed 64bit JRE.  Works now.

Hrm.  "Can't load IA 32-bit .dll on a AMD 64-bit platform"

So, I suppose I must use another machine?

Yo, site doesn't seem to work.  A friend and I would quite like to join, but so far have no way to do so.

According to the friend, "Buzzyboy is using a dynamic DNS server and his IP changed and he forgot to update the server when it did.  The IP address URL he keeps giving points to a dead end, there's no server because the IP address of the server changed and he didn't tell No-IP that."

Other Games / Re: Rawbots - Build robots and fight 'em
« on: September 12, 2012, 02:52:50 pm »
This looks neat.  I hope it can recapture some of the amazement and fun I had with Roboforge, which seems to have been so far unmentioned here.  The bots in that game had no default behavior.  The creator had to write programs for them to follow and define the movements of every joint besides the legs, which made the game difficult to get into for many.  I haven't been able to get the game to run on my desktop, and the server seems to have been shut down, though at least one person involved still has an online presence, luckily.

The whole programming thing led to some pretty funny battles.  For instance, one of the most deadly designs in my memory had an instruction set consisting of "Move forward."  Other designs were more sophisticated, such as the number of semi-successful designs I made which checked for particular devices in particular locations when the enemy robot was in front of them, and struck accordingly.
