I can't believe there aren't any bay12 atitd players... I need help people. D:

I don't know why I thought I could do this with a 3 month old and being on the cusp of moving back to California, but I did, and I can't.

Who wants to take it over? I can give you the formula for the Keystone mines. :P

348
Okay so yesterday was stupid; sorry for the lack of update. I am in the process of moving back to California, and as some may know I have a three month old, so that may happen often. If that's the case, I think today's goal is to try to get the Kings to be able to run the game to some extent.

I'm still waiting on Tiriun's submission of slam poetry! :O

---

Anyhow, since the title post, there've been three ticks of time in our great nation.

King Nirur is mining Keystones with 12 peasants: 45 Keystones have been dredged out of the mine!
  ~2 from Duke Dragor

Duke Chaos Armor is harvesting sticks with 2 peasants: 12 sticks have been gathered!

Duke Ochita is harvesting Shimmerweed latex with 2 peasants: 6 Shimmerweed latex have been harvested! The 1 Shimmerweed fiber that has fallen during harvesting would make a great source of string! You've harvested 1 Shimmerweed string!

King Twi is mining Keystones with 8 peasants: Only just 1 Keystone has been found! Perhaps you need more workers...
and is harvesting sticks with 2 peasants: 12 sticks have been gathered!

Department Head McClay is gathering sticks with 1 peasant: 6 sticks have been gathered!

---

From now on, Kings, please report your actions in the following manner:

1 Keystone mine: 16 workers; 4 from Vassal Blahblah, 4 from Vassal's Vassal Blahblah, and 8 of my own
1 Stream: 0 workers
1 Shimmerweed Forest: 2 workers of my own
Vassal's Keystone mine: 3 workers of his own

And list all generating holdings despite having no workers. I'd love you foreverandever.

Also, if anyone can correctly guess the exact formulae for calculating resources generated, not only will they claim a reward, but the Kings can also do these updates on their own every 12 hours(game ticks at 3 PM and 3 AM PST).

Taricus is the first to step up to the Slampoetry challenge! If any others would like to join, we have spots for two more; however if it goes too long, I'll accept just the one extra... (Tiruin, if you'd like to join, I'd suggest this; you'll have a seat of power right up there with Twi and Nirur!)

Speaking of Universities... I was going to take Twi's away until he paid for it... But instead I'll just give one to Nirur! The winner of the slampoetry will have to buy it however. :O

Here's a secret too: The reason I want the triumverate is for votes! Especially on things like what research the Divine University should research next!

350
((So I have complete control over all his funds? :O))

Yap, basically! Here's what happens behind the scenes: He has 5 keystones, wants things. Gives them to you and tells you what he wants. Now, you can either keep the keystones and give him the stuff out of your current assets, or use them to pray for the items from me. Which you then give back to him.

You are his lord, and whatever you say, goes for him.

351
((Also, how do we research?))

You must research from your lord, who must research from his lord, etc. It all comes from me eventually.

I shall spend 5 of the keystones on a farm and 1 on a pesant. The peasant will collect sticks from the forest.

I should have been a little more clear on this... The Keystones can only directly "buy" things from the Divine Emperor by a King. All other transactions must go through your lord. So in other words, you're going to have to buy a peasant and a farm from Twi... Sorry. :O

EDIT: Of course, if he says that what you want is okay, then I can give it to you... but it needs his approval first, basically. >_>

Aaaand I'm offline for awhile. Please, I hope someone ends up doing the slampoetry battle. I need a third vassal D:

352
Wait, so is that only for the kings or for everyone?

Sorry; for the Kings. I'll only ever deal with Kings, as a general rule.

353
Subjects! I have a great announcement!

I am to be joined in marriage by none other than jaina!

Bow to her wisdom, power, and beauty, as you would my own!

A dowry of Keystones has followed her from far away worlds, and them I pass down to you. Another 18 each!

It is also Her honor to name the Empire!

Hail The Divine Empress Jaina!

EDIT: Techs and Rules updated...

I would participate this duel, as long as the poetry is metaphorical :P

Is there any great slampoetry battle that is not metaphorical?

The Grand University has been opened on my land!  You must work together to unlock the research it is capable of!

As celebration, I have granted each of my Lords with a mountain, two hills, a lake, two streams, a forest, and two Shimmerweed flower-forests to be summoned to their lands wherever they see fit.

Divine One, I wish to trade all of my keystones for three peasants, small farmlands, and a keystone mine.

Status of Torir Kingdom:
Resources:
18 Keystones.

No need to wait for my approval... If it's impossible, I'll let you know, otherwise, just assume the trade went smoothly! (In other words you have what you asked for, an no more keystones.) :P

Empire's Announcment!

A Triumverate is required. The third position of King will be available to the winner of Slampoetry battle. 3 contestants only need apply. You cannot currently own land in order to apply(You can always abandon the land before applying, though).

New discoveries have been made! (Check the title post)

Also, please follow Nirur Torir's example, and display all your immediate belongings in your major post(s) of the day(s).

As proof of my Divine Power, I have conjured 18 Keystones for both of my Lords. Err Each of my Lords. You each get 18. Let it be known that the Divine Emperor sucks at English. >_>

Twi and Nirur Torir. You two own half of my land. How will you agree to split it up? 50/50?

Dragor23, you must ask one of the above for land.

358
DISCLAIMER: This is an experimental game and quite possibly will not advance very far.

I am the Divine Emperor. I've been blessed with a million square hectares of land by me. I will claim half of this area for myself, and the other half will be split by the first two who wish it.

Discoveries and Tech Tree stuff

|--Can muck around in Keystone mines to search for Keystones.

Rules of my Fief

Bashed my spaceship against a space station's walls because of frustration.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Try to figure trading out? It's easy once you get the hang of it. Get a trading system extension to scan the stations from afar ("." opens map, "up; down" highlight a station, "u" for station info) and buy low, sell high. Start with energy sells, move up to ores, and eventually you can do more expensive things. Nividium and weapons are worth a loooooot but usually extremely difficult to find places that sell them for a decent price. It takes awhile to build up momentum, but eventually you can get enough to buy a larger ship, then you can send him out on his own.
