I was the next.

I also have a question : If I built a golden room and that I submerge it in magma (the inside is protected), will the temperature increase a lot in there ?

PS : went into Cruelthieves and found the best decoration ever.

I take weapons and clothes to burn them down.
I saw that boiling vomit was red, that mud doesn't take fire damage, that weapons are still solid long enough to be thrown on someone and that bones were good for throwing as they don't get fire damage quickly.

I made a SoF adventurer.
The problem was that it was still a weak adventurer (could easely be shot and killed, wasn't even able to make anything else than water and vomit boil). However, it was fun to see human cities burning down. I'm at the second human town for now, and they're all dying of heat.

I want to make a temple for Armok, but there is a slight problem.
There will be a pool in the temple. I built it, and when I told to my dwarves to fill it, the water evaporated so quickly that I couldn't have more than 1/7 water in the pool.
As the temple was aboveground, I built a cover over the pool, so it was "Inside Light Aboveground".
The water still evaporated.
What should I do ?

I remember that I used a minor mod, then forgot that I used it. When I realised my mistake, I looked at the files, destroyed what I didn't need and used the remaining. But the creatures are still there, causing duplicates with the creatures I kept. The strangest thing is that I destroyed all the useless things...

EDIT : Problem solved. I used a separate folder to do the mods, then I copy-pasted everything in a copy of DF, so the new things remained.

EDIT 2 : Problem isn't solved at all. The "Nephilim : Play Now !" thing is right, but instead of "Nephilim of <add civ name here>" there's "Hyperborrean of <add civ name here>". I can't give the raws I modified because I didn't make any archive.
An other strange thing is when I made a hyperborrean adventurer, it told me :
The Shopkeeper is caught in a burst of steam!
The Shopkeeper is caught in a cloud of boiling  bone.
The Shopkeeper falls over.
Mapo Spibsasathrel, Shopkeeper has frozen to death.
It is warm.

For instance, if it tells you to make 4 wood-related jobs, it means that you must construct 4 beds, or 4 barrels, or 2 beds and 2 barrels.
You should increase your wealth by smoothing, engraving, item constructing and the like. Beware, wealth brings thieves, ambushes and sieges.

I didn't mod any megashrimp.
I had a bug that replaced every creature that I created with an other creature (angels becoming valkyries, heroes becoming winged giants...). In world gen, angels are angels and heroes are heroes, bu in legends and in-game there is the bug.
Anyone has a solution ?

I think that only Planepacked and Broiledprinces are real "Ultra artifacts". Because the player didn't do anything special to have them. Planepacked is better because it was the first. Broiledprinces is also good, even if it is second.

How do I know where merchants are in dwarven and elven villages?
There are no merchants. In fact yes, there are merchants, but they only sell things to your fortresses in Fortress mode.
How do I get all items of one type, eg. Iron Bolts to stack. I have been using them as throwing weapons for my axeman and I have lots of them in ones in my inventory.
As far as I know, that's impossible.
Can I buy a map of the world with locations of all the towns or something?
No.
If I go to, for example, a Dark Fortress tile, how can I find the Fortress itself??
Wander in the area, and be sure that there is  --- near the Dark Fortress tile on the top left.
How can I find enemies as currently I am just wandering about waiting to be ambushed?
Wander in the area. Or sneak, move a few tiles away and fast-travel.
