I'm having problems of my own, too, but I'm not sure if this is a bug or I'm doing something wrong. I have a reaction that's supposed to let you create weapons and armor in adventurer mode, taking different amounts of materials for each item. Right now I have the maul taking three bars of metal, but in testing, it asks for 'select material (3 left, consumed)'. Then when I select a single out of three bars, it goes immediately to 'select material (-147 left, consumed)'. After that, I select a second bar, and then the reaction ends and it says that I made nothing.

If it helps, here's the reaction in question, and I have another [REACTION_CLASS:METAL] token put into the metal material template.

[REACTION:MAKE_MAUL_ADV]
   [NAME:make maul]
   [ADVENTURE_MODE_ENABLED]
   [REAGENT:material:3:ANY_RAW_MATERIAL:NONE:NONE:NONE]
      [REACTION_CLASS:METAL]
   [REAGENT:leather strips:1:SKIN_TANNED:NONE:NONE:NONE:NONE]
   [PRODUCT:100:1:WEAPON:ITEM_WEAPON_MAUL:GET_MATERIAL_FROM_REAGENT:material:NONE]
   [SKILL:WEAPONSMITH]

You know, I find myself wanting to throw hug and handshake interactions in to go with the spit one, but I don't quite want to use USAGE_HINT:GREETING for the hugs. Is there some kind of positive social response usage hint or something?

Mine would have to be the corpse of this named minotaur I killed. I could kill anything by flailing that minotaur around.

Actually, the elephant that injured Cilob was named Ticklord, the same name of the elephant who slayed Ruby. But there was no way that Onyx would have known that. So it was more roundabout than it seemed.

I created a world, and decided that I'd write down everything that I did with multiple adventurers, then wrote them in different voices for each character. Some things never happened (Like Sarvesh being female instead of male) But other than that, this is all true things that really happened.

What Zerrer Said

Well siad. I would say something, though... if you choose to believe that coin is heads, you can use that as a basis from which to think and function, and from where to draw value- likewise if you believe tails. I'm curious to know, what do you gain from accepting neither?

It's not that I gain anything from accepting neither, it's that my mind is incapable of accepting one of them. I can't take something on blind faith, and I can't accept the fact that we're all alone here.

First of all, I'd like to say how happy I feel, reading this topic, for people to be able to have such a varied yet polite conversation about religion and atheism. [Hope for humanity: +10]

I, myself, am agnostic, and I essentially feel that this whole religion\atheism idea is just two sides of a coin, and said coin is flipping in the air. Most people I know say it's either heads or tails, and get into arguments protesting that they're right, While I just want to wait for the coin to fall. Said coin falling would be pretty much my own death and the afterlife\lack thereof.

From the atheism point of view, I can see what they mean; There's no proof.
But from the religious point of view, I can understand what they mean too.
I'm fairly sure that I would be religious, except I have an issue with the whole concept of faith; There's something 'wrong' about letting a group of other people that are just as fallible as I am, perhaps more so, choose what I believe. And even then, who says I'm choosing the right group? I'm fallible too.

And as for prayer, I believe that it's not like just thinking things and letting gods peruse your mind; I believe that prayer is more of a combination of meditation, and sending . . .'letters' to any deities. When I say letters, I mean the psychological exercise of writing letters that you're supposed to pretend you're sending them when you're really not. The deity could sneak into your desk and read the letters if xhe wants, but xhe's not going to respond. And even if said deities don't exist, the practice of 'sending' the letters would be healthy.

I've prayed once in my life, and said prayer came true nearly immediately. I never prayed to any specific deity, I just sort of sent it 'to whomever it may concern'. All I did was say thank you, and continued on my way. Even if a deity appeared in front of me, glowing alight with holy fire, I would wave, nod, and continue on my way. Even if Xhe set up the world in a certain way, it's akin to someone making a jigsaw puzzle for children; We're -supposed- to be figuring it out, because if we weren't supposed to, we would never have been born. That goes the same with alternate religions, all of the dozens of different gods, pantheons, ETC. If they weren't supposed to worship all of these multiple religions, said religions wouldn't exist.

So basically, what I've taken to doing, is to be kind to everybody. I'm quite sure that no gods, if they exist, would have an issue with that, and if they are offended that I'm not on my knees towards them, I'm pretty much screwed no matter what I do.

Idea 1
Cave-in. Dig out two levels the same size, build supports on the bottom level, and channel along the walls on the top level. If I'm seiged, then I pull the switch to get rid of the supports and send tons of rocks down on those pesky elves!
Idea 2
Underwater Base. Build a base as normal, and then build tall walls around and pump water in. When that's complete, then nothing will get in! BWAHAHAHAHA!
