Its means easily able to Mac port, not instant Mac port. (unless Toady releases both .31.04 AND .31.# Mac port at the same time)I'm tempted to answer "never" to the whole question of DF on Mac. We've been waiting for full months after the PC users got DF.That would be a false answer. There's no hurry to support compatibility for people who insist on buying computers that are not compatible with most programs.

there's clearly something wrong with Dwarf Fortress that makes it impossible for some people to play (and I don't think it's graphics).All the "popular" games (ex. Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2) have superultramega realistic graphics, so most people expect them in games. the slightly less popular but still well known games (ex. Super Mario Galaxy) have cartoonish but still 3D graphics.
I just watched some tutorial videos on youtube, none of these wussy tilesets for me.Note on 2010 farming: if you accidentally flood your farm too much, you can dig down, find a cavern, then use the cavern as a drainage room.
