Well at least you can actually MILK non-vermin creatures now.
After you un-cage them. trying to milk a caged animal results in continous tug-of-war between hauler and milker!

Yes, they do. They're also more useful now.
More useful how?

They come with actual skills now, as opposed to before when they lacked usefully high skills at all.
All of mine seem to think Cheese Maker is a backup job, all 15 i've gotten have skills and some level of skill in cheese maker as well.

Exactly.  My plan is to test whether or not there are infinite demons, and the easiest way to do so is to attempt to kill them all.  When you've got nigh-unstoppable slade colossi (I finally went with that), it's a little easier to do so.
Can I help test it?

We must milk them! We've tortured and murdered prisoners, attacked neutral parties (traders), committed genocide on a regular basis (at least, that's how the elves see it) and abused the laws of physics like a beaten house-wife. We just need to keep semi-sentient creatures as livestock (slavery) and we'll have committed every atrocity under the sun!

You do know that slavery in illegal in dwarven society according to the raws right?

Another bug that may have already been reported:

In a smelter (only tested non-magma so far), all the "make * from *" options have " (a)" after them, and pressing 'a' simply selects the first one (coke from bituminous coal). I assume they are meant to be lettered a,b,c,d,etc
