...That is most certainly an... interesting... rulebook you have there. It is a shame then that massive objects dwarf giant ones... and it is, shall we say, snack time.

...Rabid, I fear I may have give you too much Dragonsblood wine. You are not a God! Sadly, the crab does not have lasers. A shame, but still. However, meat consuming crabs DO take a size bonus, even if said meat is raw. We now have a Massive Crab on the shores and a scared sheep population. Who can save them but... hmm... a shepard! Obviously, in Darwinian Revolution, Ninth Edition, any change in the master species has a knock-on effect to the reccessive species, so humanity is to sheep as sheep is to humanity. And I put a human on the beach.

Calvinball? Surely you jest, good sire! Tacticus has rules! Many, in fact! Actually, we have so many rulebooks it has reached the stage where it is difficult to tell if a rulebook has or has not been invented...

Naturally, giant crabs will eat anything comparable to food... and I think that the scaling rules of Verbeose Usage for Beginners allow the sheep to be comparable to the crab's usual diet. Let the feasting begin!

Well, gentlemen, the time has come upon us for another round of that most noble pursuit-Tacticus. However, this round, we shall not attempt to render this excellence in artwork-instead, we shall realise our dreams in words-and this nice table before us. Nevertheless, I brought some Dragonsblood wine. Always good for occasions such as this. Now where did I put that book... ah yes.

In accordance with the Advanced Sect Openings, our table shall start as a long beach front. The water is crystal blue, the sands gold in the sunlight, palm trees line the neat grass. There are a selection of rock pools at one end and an abrupt cliff at the other. The beach is populated by... hang on, where did I put that d16? Ah. Let's see... Darn it. The local populous are sentient sheep. This should be rather entertaining...

Sadly, the next turn will be coming some time after Christmas because my fan has seemed to upgraded itself to a chainsaw.

In unrelated news, you will soon face the Fan Chainsaw Boss Monster Thing.

TURN 2

Xalonok is A FIRIN' HIS RADIOACTIVE LAZORS. [1] You know those cartoons where the villian is firing his lasers, then two guys carrying a big mirror get in the way, making it bounce off about 17 different surfaces before it hits the bad guy in the face? This is one of those moments.

On Turn 2, Xalonok, in an invisible shirt, died by his own radioactive lasers. He made great toast, though.

TopHat goes and steals some explosives! [2] Sadly, radioactive bricks do not count as explosives.

"Destroying Titan" is forcefully renamed to something sensible [NAME GET: Persus the Destroying Titan] then DESTROYS. [5] He decides to destroy [4] Nicholas! [4+1 Vs 1] Ooooof... That has GOT to hurt! Nicholas loses 4 Health from that massive punch!

Anaile uses ICE HANDS on URIST McLAWYER! [3] These ice hands are ridiculously hard to aim, but some spray goes towards the intended target. [2 Vs 2+1] He ducks out of the way in the nick of time, but he's in no position for a counterattack.

Greenwich attempts a risky teleportation maneuver. [5] He's back on earth and no longer suffocating! [STATUS UN-GET: Suffocating] He then tries to discover his powah. [2] It turns out he has no powah. Then he sees to this radioactivity problem. [2] Nope. The radioactivity attempts to metaphorically eat his brains. [5 Vs 6] The brains say no and kick the radioactivity off the head. [STATUS UN-GET: Radioactivity]

Nicholas attempts to take cover in a nearby bunker! [2] There are no nearby bunkers!

Skeletor attempts to fling rats! [4] He grabs a large handful and throws them at [6] Urist! [4 Vs 6] He punches them all off in style though.

Urist did not post, though, and so implodes.

On Turn 2, Urist McLawyer, in a white shirt, died by implosion after failing to post. Let's keep it moving, folks!

Radiation is still a thing! Everyone alive rolls to survive it! [3 Vs 3, 4, 3, 4, 1, 2] Nicholas and Skeletor both [STATUS GET: Radioactive]. How nice is that? You get to share in your possibly painful and utterly meaningless demise! How fun!

Again, we have two [2] slots open. First two to get stuff done correctly are in.

TURN 1

Anaile tries to gain the power to create ice! [6] Suddenly, ice starts shooting from his hands continuously and he can't seem to stop it! [STATUS GET: Ice Hands] Obviously, this will ruin someone else's day at some point.

Wyrm tests his power. [6] It's amazing! He can run up walls! He can lift trucks! He can fire lasers! But all of that suddenly comes to an end when someone decides that he's worth a shot and shoots him. Bulletproofness was not one of his powers.

On Turn 1, Wyrm, in a green shirt, died due to taking a bullet. On the bright side, he set the record for longest life so far.

Scrapheap wants to do something about an anime? [1] Someone comes out from nowhere and breaks your neck for confusing everyone with your generic anime nonsense.

On Turn 1, Scrapheap, in a black shirt, died due to confusing everyone with anime. Seriously, don't do that.

Urist McLawyer does some generic lawyer shouting! [4] The court you were next to mistook you for the defence attourney and he got a not guilty verdict. He comes out and gives you some money. [ITEM GET: $1000] Well, you guess this is useful?

Xantalos causes everything to explode in GREEN FOIYAH! [5] Holy explosive. Everything exploded in green fire. It's very dangerous. Everyone is "attacked" by debris, radioactivity, etc. Anaile [3 Vs 2] Dodges an I-beam by the skin of his teeth. Urist McLawyer [2 Vs 3] Takes some radioactive green fire to the hair. He loses 1 Health and is now subject to radioactive poisoning [Urist: STATUS GET: Radioactive]. Nicholas [6 Vs 6] has an epic staring contest between himself and a falling building. They call it a draw and the building returns upright. Skeletor9 [4 Vs 2] is confused. Is there something he's supposed to be dodging? Greenwich [3 Vs 4] Also takes some radioactive fire to the hair, costing himself 1 Health and gaining radioactivity [Greenwich: STATUS GET: Radioactive]. Amazingly, nobody died... yet. The area is now radioactive and everyone will be affected by radioactivity on their go next turn.

Nicholas tries to teleport [5] Greenwich to the moon! [5] Greenwich is now on the moon and may or may not suffocate.

Skeletor9 goes to kick... [3] Xantalos! [4 Vs 5] However, Xantalos sees it coming and pulls Skeletor's leg up, causing him to fall down onto the concrete for 1 Health. Skeletor then makes a hasty retreat! [6] He hides in a dumpster. Which is full of rats. This could get amusing next turn.

Greenwich goes to punch WHOA SHIT ON THE MOON NO OXYGEN ROLL TO BREATHE [1 Vs 3] The lack of oxygen causes him to get 2 Health damage and a status effect [STATUS GET: Suffocating].

TWO [2] Spaces are open. The first people to post appropriate character sheets get the places. I remind the alive players that you must post your sheet with your action.

>Spawn as killer robot with buzzsaw, remove Nerjin's limbs.
[1] You spawn a killer robot with buzzsaw who wants to kill you. Suprise.

Your capitalization and punctuation. They are miserable wrecks. Fix them.
[3] Well, I can't fix another man's punctuation, but I like to think mine are up to scratch, so carry on!

Sic Derm on Slayerhero90.
[3] He minorly derms his ass. Is derming a verb? Let's assume it is. Either way, slayerhero is now missing most of his lower body died of blood loss.

Shoot self.
[3] Seriously, RANDOM.org? Anyway, you want to shoot yourself but you can only find a BB gun, which hurts but doesn't actually do a whole lot in terms of damage.

Strangle GWG for revenge.
[2] You realise that GWG isn't that bad a person and cannot bring yourself to strangle him. Even if he did just get Derm to derm slayerhero.

Quote from: Derm
Now derm the everything
[4] Derm derms everything. Everybody dies! The end.

Nah, just kidding. You all get to respawn yourselves. ROLL TO GM [1d5=5] Good news, Doomblade. You're the next GM.

Roll To Dodge / Roll To Live [TURN 2] [BODY COUNT: 4] [RECORD: 2]
« on: December 21, 2012, 05:47:06 pm »
The aim of the game here is simple. You just need to survive as many turns as possible before you die. However, I refuse to make this simple for you. I will throw a lot of bad things as you, as will your fellow players. The question is, can you beat all odds and survive?

Standard RTD rules apply. You have 6Hp, and combat is a straight up roll vs roll difference is damage. You are expected to track your own stats in this game, failure to do so will result in death. Waitlists will not be a thing, whoever posts a sheet and action post death gets in. A sheet for you, then;

Name: ((Something instantly relatable to your forum name please))
Health: <3<3<3 ((Six pieces of hearts.))
Status: Fine
Inventory: <<Colour>> shirt ((Insert your own colour))
Action: ((Make it entertaining! And lethal!))

You must post this with every action. Anyway, starting scenario.

It is the 21st December, 2012. It just seems like a normal day. You are in the middle of New York, when suddenly you feel a great power run through your body. You noticce others with similar power gains. You know you must survive.

Spoiler: LEADERBOARD OF FALLEN (click to show/hide)
