Glad you specified ;D

Is the Thursdays-only thing because of the GM not having the time, or someone else?
This thread is just for communication between sessions. We play weekly live sessions that last several hours (and have done for about 3 months now) over Maptool as a six player party. It's the internet version of playing around a table, as opposed to playing by post.

Safia would want to stay in the forest at least until the villagers are settled into the new area. After that, She'd be willing to go wherever.
My cleric is in the same boat. He can't just abandon people in need; not only would that go against his own morals, it would probably piss off his deity as well(Since Bahamut is the protector of the weak).
Ramum will be glad to have a bit more time as a group to try to finish the problem at hand. I don't feel like I can have him leave Thornevine in-character strictly because the party is doing so, at least until it's relatively clear that there are no more actions there he can take with his current power to continue trying to figure out how to solve the problem.
Then again, he does value your assistance in the matter (and is aware that any one of you could leave the party at any time), so, given the number of people interested in this Deola person, depending how long it might take and if we can spend a few more days trying to ascertain if there's anything we can do, he might agree to go and help out.
It's his decision though, I can't speak for him.

Granted, but it is excessively large and comes complete with a giant mantis (that somehow is alive), which promptly snacks on your head.

I wish I had the ability to communicate with all animals to at least the level at which I am able to communicate with somebody of a similar intelligence to me, who speaks the same language as me, and who I have some method of communicating with (be it direct conversation or facilitated through some other medium).

When is dividing meatcreatures into several pieces ever not a good plan?
*wild shapes into a hungry, grinning crocodile*  ;D

I had only checked on the compendium before; just now I checked in the book.

In the compendium, Armor of Faith specifies that while wearing cloth or no armour and not using a shield.
In the book, it just says no heavy armour and shield.

According to the errata, "This change reflects the feature’s design intent. Avengers are not supposed to gain the benefit of this feature while wearing leather or hide."
http://www.wizards.com/dnd/files/UpdatePH2.pdf

Whether you want to play with or without the errata is the DM's/group's/your choice. It's not like we're playing in RPGA or anything. :D

Regarding our plan of action, how long are people willing to stay in the forest before seeking out this Deola(?) person? I'd like to figure out if any kind of assault on the spirit's vessel would be feasible or if we'd have to return at later levels for that (and if so, find out if there's anything we could do to chill out the situation until later).
Also, if we capture her/kill her, who gets to take her body back out of Inmontani or Kelron? Maybe we could let Frost kill her and then split her in two. That way everyone's happy :P

Virex - is leather armour worth it for you? Your Armour of Faith class feature is superior, is it not?

Leon, now in the mess, wonders why Travis is calling him a 'sweet mistress'.

...

...

Okay, fine.

Leon heads to the mess and sits down with a few of the folks he recognises from before, describing in great detail the sight of the burning rats and the vampire-wolf and his success with his flute, and then listening to their stories.

Goliath snarfs some food that was spilled on the floor.

"Are we meant to bring these back, or something?"

My advice: unless there's some potion or alchemical item you particularly like the look of, save your money for magic items.
As a ritual caster, if I want to keep up with learning new rituals it costs me, and using those rituals costs, too.

In addition (not sure how long it was before you disconnected), a lot of us (myself, Inmontani, and the lizardmen priests) all got visions in our sleep - the forest is about to do a larger-scale attack. The problems with the forest are being caused by some great spirit, who'll have a physical form deep in the woods that could be destroyed.

It may not be possible to get that close as we are, though.

Granted, but it's totally spoiled by some onlooker interrupt with a cry of "CAPTAIN FARUCON!"

I wish for a FALCON LUNCH.

582
No, not at the moment.
The only reason Frost has more common crits is because he rolls twice. If he increased his crit range it would be even more extreme.

583
Smite them with light that's kinda too bright! And a spear.
And yeah, save at least one for questioning.

Leon steps out of the room, both proud of his excellent work but ashamed of its results, and not wanting to see more. Getting paid will, of course, make him feel a little better about it.

Goliath sits next to Leon, head under Leon's hand, and watches the rat pack through the doorway.

Oh, sorry. I've been away from the computer for a day.

Leon steps back and watches with mixed emotions.

Goliath pulls a nicely cooked rat from the stack and noms on it.
