Yeah, shrubs are really good at ruining vehicles. Plating it with the military grade armor will help a lot but you still gotta keep and eye on the durability and repair it frequently. This is why I consider bikes or 3x3 vehicles to be the best for general exploration, cause they're actually small enough to maneuver around shrubs.

Also, 200 mph is really damn fast, the damage would not be so drastic at lower speeds.

I keep being told that I feel quite prepared for wilderness survival each time I take ursine serum. What does that means? Also I can't seem to get new mutations.

That is just the message that you receive when taking ursine serum. There is a unique one for each type of serum.

I have tons of mutagen (65 to be exact, one plastic jerrycan and a gallon jug). Which mutation branch would you guys recommend for a martial arts expert? And is there any risk of combining mutations with bionics?

Most are good for martial artist. Mutation in general is suited mainly for melee and especially for martial artists. The only ones you may want to avoid are bird and elf, so you don't suffer from all the nasty -toughness mutations.
Though I would recommend picking up the raptor talons mutation, as they give a very very large bonus to unarmed damage. Obviously from raptor path.

Will it spawn turrets if I try to break in a lab with an acetylene torch?

It should be clarified that breaking into a place doesn't spawn turrets, the turrets are already spawned, opening the door properly despawns all the turrets.

So in other words, yes.

Can I burn the fungal beds?

Yes you can, fungal beds burn very, very, very well.

How DO you get on your liege's council? Can't figure it out.

One way to (possibly) get on your liege's council is to join a faction. Computers prioritize faction members for council seats because of the relations boost. This works particularly well when you're a powerful vassal.

General Discussion / Re: Favorite and least favorite Gaming Youtuber.

Favorites:
For entertainment? Yahtzee
When I actually want to know about a game? Jim Sterling

Least favorite? Probably either Markplier or Total Biscuit.

I love Yahtzee but not really for Zero Punctuation, I mainly consume his other stuff, Let's Drown Out and the like. Even then, it's not really because of the game, I just like his banter.

I refuse to watch any of Pewdiepie's videos so I don't really feel justified putting him as my least favorite.
I don't like Total Biscuit because I find him too serious to enjoy and too tedious to get information from. When I'm deciding whether or not I want a game I generally want a succinct, straight to the point opinion or game play. Jim provides both without having to faff around in the options for half an hour.
As for Markplier? I dunno, something about him just grates me.

Also, is it possible to make a knife entirely from forest materials? I can't seem to find anything that could be used as a string.

The only thing I can think of is sinew or plant fiber, but both would require a knife for butchering.

You may be able to find some string by rummaging through bushes.

Oh man, evidently its gunna hit -15 F on Thursday over here, thankfully I don't actually ever have to go outside as my university is kind enough to provide heated tunnels to everywhere on campus.

This weekend things will warm up to a balmy cos -x..."

Cos -x would be pretty damn cold.

You can just go and toggle the dynamic NPC's spawns by switching the "random npcs" option to yes. Use sparingly as random NPCs tend to result in a never-ending hoard of NPCs looting and burning down everything in sight.
AFAIK you can't turn static NPCs on after world creation. You could start a new world and port your character over though.

"Whoa, a katana. I'd probably hurt myself trying to swing that." /walk away

When you see a mansion, look towards your inner pyromaniac Marxist and stick it to the bourgeoisie by chucking a Molotov in the front door.

Oh, and did anyone had problem with the old mofo hag? What is the strategy here? She killed two whole squad already, and one was with my "chosen one" caracter (i even renamed him Aragorn, do you know how important he was to me old bitch? DO YOU ?). She keeps pulling one of my best caracter in her fucking chamber pot, cooking him slowy and, god, how many actions does she has? She can put one in the pot, get one of my caracter sick and blow them with a spoon of her fucking soup before my team wakes up. And as soon as i get my member out of the pot (cause most of the time, it's the one who is the most important to attack her, in the back) she just puts him back in, like you know, it's fun.

Just ignore the pot, wham on the Hag. She's the most fragile of the bosses so she goes down quick. Dot's are extremely effective 'cause she gets multiple turns a round, so If It Bleeds and Bleed Out are your friend. Obviously your team has to be very good at long range fighting for this since she has an immortal front line.

Also curious, the Blight Damage increase on the PD. Does it do 3 damage per round? 2?

It does 5 at max, I don't happen to have a first level blight doctor on hand to tell then but I'm guessing 3.
