Quote from: From the comments (someone living in china)
Chinese flash their headlights like lasers, hoping to clear a path before them or warn j walkers to get out of the street. Its my favorite becuase it immediately puts the driver in a weaker position by acknowledging their targets exist. The targets see the light and slow down becuase they are confident they driver will swerve or otherwise avoid them.
Oh god, I am so happy that I live in the US, and not China or some other country where driving is so crazy.
I've never had to deal with really crazy driving in the US o_O  Occasionally one driver somewhere will go "DUR" and do something stupid, but other than that, I never run into any significant problems.  Except when, well, there's virtually anything on the side of the road (dust included) and people feel inclined to slow down/stop to stare at it.

I just found out that my first cousin on my mother's side was the original lead singer of Twisted Sister.

Why the fuck has no one said holy shit to this?
Thats awesome dude, you need to hang out with your uncle man.
I didn't even see it. That's totes sweet dude.
Wow that is amazing O_O

I have the weirdest dreams about aliens now.  Last night I dreamt I was living in some small house in the country when an triangular alien ship went overhead.  I apparently fell to the ground temporarily paralyzed, my vision went all red, and I fell asleep within my dream.  When I woke up (still in my dream) I could barely walk and barely see.  Then I saw some random neighbors were in my house, looking pretty frightened, and asking for weed to smoke o_O  Another guy came in as I was shooing them out, and started pushing buttons that I didn't see before.  Apparently my house's doors are operated by the same buttons used by the light rail I use to get to school.  Then some other people came in and said they wanted to stick around so they could experience this aliens thing too.  That night (within my dream) the aliens went overhead again, and everyone fell down, couldn't get up, and my vision started going red again.  Then I thought "enough of this ridiculousness" and woke up from the dream entirely.

I'm making a prediction here and now.  Darius will have a short-ranged aoe line-ish skillshot where he slams his axe down toward the cursor.
Not quite.  He has an ult that does true damage and refreshes its cooldown if he kills with it.
Quote
Hemorrhage (Passive): Darius aims his attacks strategically, causing his to target bleed. This effect stacks up to five times.
Decimate: Darius swings his axe in a lethal circle. Enemies struck by its blade take more damage than those struck by its shaft.
Crippling Strike: Darius's next attack severs a crucial artery. As the target bleeds out, their movement and attack speeds are slowed. Crippling Strike's cooldown is lower the more bloodied its target.
Apprehend: Darius hones his axe, granting him passive armor penetration. When activated, Darius sweeps up his enemies with his axe's hook and pulls them to him.
Noxian Guillotine (Ultimate): Darius leaps to an enemy champion and strikes a lethal blow, dealing true damage. This damage is increased for each stack of Hemorrhage on the target. If Noxian Guillotine is a killing blow, its cooldown is refreshed.
He looks like another very sticky AD champ.  I'd bet that even if you manage to escape, his passive's damage over time plus an ignite will finish off anyone under say, 300 hp that gets away.

I've gained 17 pounds recently :/  That really, really sucks.  I did hardcore cardio and weight lifting a while back to keep those pounds off... I had no idea they could spring back so fast.  Now I have no gym to work in and the neighborhood I live in now doesn't believe in sidewalks ._.

There's a 15 minute short film called "Why Does God Hate Me" about a gay boy growing up in a heavily religious family/school/state.  I saw the trailer, now I desperately need to see it.  I can't find a steam of that movie anywhere :( :( :(

meh, what about the fact that in every single anime two drops of rain make the characters grab life-threatening colds of 39+ degrees? What are they made of, cotton-candy?
Or how if they don't sleep in a *futon* the next morning they are nearly dead because of a cold? What is it, -90 Degrees in the night in japan?
Really, what is it with japanese and *colds*?

Japan is just a sesspool of deadly diseases and murderers.

And apparently Elder Gods, Deep Ones, and Old Ones...and Players (starts with a Z, for anyone who has seen it)
And giant robots, teenagers with super powers, modern day ninja and samurai...

Also, I'm glad to find out that the Japanese word for Banana is バナナ, pronounced Banana.
Banana is banana pretty much everywhere though.
Pretty much everwhere. Image related.

Bengali: কলা (Kola)

Whereas Apple is 'Ringo'.
And Strawberry is 'Ichigo' which made for a bunch of wonderful puns the first time I watched Bleach. Ichigo as in strawberry, for Ichigo Kurosaki's red hair, Ichigo as in 1-5 as in Juugo (15)- Ichigo's age, and Ichigo also apparently means "Protect whatever you put your mind to."
Wasn't Renji's name also one letter short of being Orenji, the word for orange?

We were already discussing Colorado's civil unions bill?  Honestly I wasn't all that concerned with the other gay marriage and civil union things going on around the country, but now I'm getting worried.  I'm not even fully out of the closet yet and people are going ballistic D:

edit: or let me put this a different way.  I wasn't worried when it was just one state denying gay's right to marry, now I'm worried because there are a lot more states hopping onto the bandwagon.  I'm also sad that my home state technically doesn't have gay marriage until June, and there's petitions going around to stop it :(

I think that link is kinda pushing it... sure no one HAS to read it, but I'd say it's more disturbing than entertaining.

Still need to wait and see.  Everyone was jumping for joy when Rift was coming out, then everyone played it and it was pretty much like WoW.
