Never saw a single episode.  The commercials alone made me want to demand those precious seconds back.

About all I saw was some fat guy being emo on a beach and having awkward conversations with some of the other guys on the beach?  Just didn't pull me in.

Still expecting an official twlight book where Jacob and Edward give up on women and get interested in each other.

Probably any day now.

I figured it was all in good fun.  It's a forum, we all have reasons to dislike one another, so whenever there's a "crap on so and so" event that isn't explicitly vile, I see it as harmless and a chance add +1 fun to our posts.

I have still not bought a DS.  Of any kind.  I'm waiting for the 3D DS SP, probably.

God made the world however, by legal right he can claim copyright should he choose to.  But, he doesn't have any use for money (and could probably create any amount he wants while somehow rebalancing all the economies of the world to accomidate for inflation), and since he's all knowing, he probably saw this coming anyway.

I have no theological complaints about making artificial life.  I just have to remember to be smug when all the artificial life we make mutates into the deadliest disease imaginable.  Tee hee.

Awesome.

Take that, God! *middle finger* It took you billions of years!
Or 24 hours, ish.  Unless you believe so strongly in evolution that you automatically read it into the Bible and see Darwin's face in your spaghetti.

Mmm spaghetti...

Need to stop playing Civ 4 all day.  Shouldn't I be writing a book already?

Ragnarok Wisdom - Fan comic of Ragnarok Online, done pretty well in MS Paint.  The first comics are pretty rough, they're several years old, but I'm very impressed with how much it improves.  He does recycle old footage many times, but the author is working for free after all.

VG cats - No one mentioned VG cats?  Really?  :(

Least I Could Do - A little... ALWAYS perverse at times, but amusing always.  Although, I didn't start reading at the beginning, so I don't know what's in store early on...

I had issues here and there in English classes, and I successfully got a BA in writing.  I'm also a literalist, I hate trying to think up fancy allegories or metaphors for something that works just fine literally.  Poetry was painful beyond words, except for Robert Frost and Shel Silverstein stuff.  Give me poems about a wintry apocalypse or Capt. Hook failing at opening sardine cans (respectively) any day.  I always had the "wrong" interpretation, even when I could support it.

Figures.  The one time I get moving early in the morning and get almost a full hour to myself to goof off before work, I remember I have to take the garbage up for garbage day.  Gr.

There was this one section of Metroid Prime, just after getting the Thermal Visor, where the lights go out and you're basically attacked by space pirate ninjas, followed shortly by metroids.. Then you have to go back through the entire pirate research lab (still no lights) and kill a Forgotten Beast made out of some generic rock and phlebotinum. That part still creeps me the hell out. And for those of you who haven't played a 3D Metroid game, metroids have the most OHSHIT mind-raping screech I've ever heard, on par with most Kirby final bosses.
I second this.  Even way later in the game, when I had the fancy weapons and all sorts of upgrades, I was too afraid to go back to check out the place.

There was a glitch in the Matrix. Now there are seven Aqizzaurs.
Hm... so who around here is Neo, Morpheus, and Trinity?

My mother hyphenated her maiden name and my dad's name, seems to have worked out, although that does mean she technically has a different last name.  Just for laughs, I'll put the name:

Landreth-Metzger has a nice ring to it I say.  People could even shorten it to "L&M," which will have
Spoiler: interesting results (click to show/hide)
and would be less of a hassle for descendants who are trying to figure out your family tree.  Mmm, baking chocolate...
