I guess you're just refusing to consider the ethical issue here. You can't use privacy as scapegoat for behavior that directly violates the integrity of your position as a teacher.

You can't be an alcoholic and perform vital services such as crane operation or nursing, regardless of when and where you do your drinking. You are not permitted to have a sexual relationship with someone who works under you or in direct correlation to your position in a corporate business. There are reasons for these things; in some cases what you do is very much your employer's business, your family's business, or your friends' business. Privacy is not a scapegoat for avoiding responsibility for any of the implications of your actions.

Your individual points are easily fixed, you need to complain about things that can actually be argued.

...

However complaining that those bandits you fought when you had your rusted sword are not the same and you can't just walk through them like a field of flowers is disregardful.

...

I'm not a fan, i played the game and i liked it and there were a billion things that could be better about it. Your just complaining about things that can be solved with a little imagination or the difficulty bar. (quest to easy? click difficulty bar, move mouse right)

I don't think we need to continue further with this derail. Micro, you may want to just walk away. You've obviously had experience discussing Oblivion with disgruntled fans and players before, and you're answering complaints no one has brought up here. The complaint is that the overpopulation of the world with piles upon piles of monotonous, boring, basic bandit enemies loaded with increasingly impossibly "rare" and valuable gear makes the game bland and boring. Cranking up the difficulty doesn't relieve blandness and boredom; it just makes battles longer. On top of that, no one has complained about the game being too easy.

Quote from: Ioric Kittencuddler
It was all just so boring, and generic, and badly written, and badly scripted and badly designed, and horrible.
These are not "individual points that are easily fixed" nor "things that cannot actually be argued". The game was a monumental effort, it had a lot of good elements and features, but in the end the main thing going for it (the sheer massive size) did nothing but exacerbate the problems we've discussed.

The rest of the derail will be spoilered, and I hope others will follow the example or start a new thread if there is more to discuss.

Or they could've made more human enemies than bandits and marauders.  Maybe the dungeons in the deep wilderness would have scarier monsters, regardless of level, instead of always being tailored to you so there was no feeling of progression.

A perfectly good example of another way to do it. One that would (to me) be much more interesting and viable.

I think the topic has been completely and fully covered. There's really nothing to debate here, and no conflict to be had.

The exception being people who would generate conflict intentionally or through ignorance and an unwillingness to read what is presented here and consider it. I think both points of view have been represented well, with the definitive argument being the teacher's contractual obligation (violated), and the ethical boundary that has been crossed (although we have evidence that any moral boundary was crossed).

If the relationship was consentual and there were no other moral conflicts such as altered grade outcomes or exploitation of any kind from either party, the ethical violation remains in spite of all arguments or dispute.

The teacher is done, and his career too most likely. He violated the ethical obligation of his job and the standards of his profession. I can empathize with him; love is love. It doesn't negate the ethical violation.

Or you could fix the economy to not require ridiculous amounts of cash only available through Daedric armor, or you could provide interesting places and enemies that give a reason for the existance of this supposedly rare equipment. There's no point in pretending that populating everything in the game with lowlife thugs and generating hundreds of pieces of supposedly "rare" equipment in the most mundane locations was the only way to do it. It is silly.

You came across as somewhat patronizing, Micro. There's no need to explain basic math, and the abstract and arbitrary figures you quoted don't help your point.

Yeah, another thing that annoys me is I suspect their adverts work a lot of the time.
Unfortunately this forum has already proven that they do. Apparently a lot of people are intrigued enough to actually try it. I just got annoyed enough to go verify through a third party that it was as worthless as its advertisements led me to believe.

If it turns someone on, all that really does is encourage them to look up porn and distract them from what they are really on the net for. I don't see how it encourages them to play a mediocre online game.

However, it's long proven that simply associating your product with sex will make it sell. Go Daddy, anyone? No one had a damn clue what they were selling for a long time.

I saw the ads constantly for about three months, and was annoyed by them. The last thing I want when browsing the internet is having sex shoved in my face every few seconds.

The point I am making is that you can find out about these things without wasting your time gratifying their creepy, annoying advertising by trying them out.
Evony's ads were with us a long time. However, just yesterday I noticed they are much less frequent now.

If you get him on some more ass-kicking, the dwarves will give him a name when they feel he's earned it. It might be really cool or it might be lame; usually I take the coolest element of the long-winded dwarven name and rename the dwarf that. I don't like to see 30-character names about cyclones of cleaning and such in my menus.

2: Dwarves won't generally move things from bins onto empty stockpiles. They prefer to put them into other bins on the new stockpile, or move the whole bin. This is to help keep things organized and simplify item tracking where possible. They also won't remove anything from a correct stockpile unless they have a good reason, such as the Take From order Particleman pointed out. You can also disable items in a stockpile and they will be moved to a correct stockpile if one is available.

I don't know what is up with your other problem, but it sounds fishy. I can only tell you that it is undoubtedly some detail that you have gotten wrong, like the work orders {o}, hauling jobs, paths, stockpiles, or something else. The game is so complex that most players have to constantly deal with little frustrations like that when we get details a little wrong. You can find the problem if you work through the possibilities carefully.

Don't give him some legendary name. Use his current name. It shall become legendary.

Or, to rephrase another suggestion:

Commodore Axebeard Stoneirons, job: Ass Kickery

People use fortifications to filter creatures out of their magma supply all of the time; it's constantly recommended and bandied about the forum. I've never had cause to test it myself, but judging by that fact alone I would say no, they don't melt.

Well, learn something new every day. I knew about size, but I didn't know anything was large enough other than megabeasts and clowns. Spoiler-y things, as I said. I'll be keeping an eye out for large predators now if I ever use a smasher for defense  :o
