I've no idea how to find my ref link in the steam version, so if anyone can help with that please do tell me.

If you guys want to donate hop on IRC and message me there or in game, I'll invite you to my house and you can toss me whatever you wish to donate there.

That'd be awesome, but it kind of seems that at the rate we are getting stuff I'll still not have bnav to narrow :(

I'm still at neophyte unfortunately and only have a few hours left to work on it today.

I just received a couple more donations from people and we're now up to 22.9 doubloons! If we can borrow Stoney's sloop then we should only need 30 to get an actual crew formed. Because we are actually this close it would be worth while for us to come up with names and get that sorted out because at this rate, we'll have a crew by tomorrow night.

Sloops were about 42 (bargain) - 45 (average) thousand PoE when I last played in the Inns. Just shout that you are looking to buy a sloop, takes a bit of effort but saves thousands of poe from buying it new. And Custom names are earned through Rogue Marks from referral links, and unless you like paying extra have to be 'Adjective Fish' format.
It's worth noting that 42k PoE is roughly equal to 22 doubloons, which is kind of interesting considering you can just make a sloop for about 10k PoE it shouldn't cost that much but it does.

I'd definitely try to get a good deal on one, but silly names are fine with me (if people actually wanted to name the ship 'Armok's ___' or something else then we could raise the money though)

Roboboy also donated his 3 doubloons, so give him a round of applause!

For reference, I'm folding donations into the player list. Please be sure I know who you are before you give me money so I can keep track of it!

Also borrowing a sloop would be awesome, as it'd let us skip 22 doubloons of fundraising for a little bit. Please hop on IRC or Raidcall so we can discuss this.

I'll look into the charts in the shipyard though, that sounds like exactly what I wanted. By chart most of the admiral area does that mean you can create charts or just chart courses?

Just received a 6,000 PoE donation from Psyberian! This brings us up to just under 11 doubloons (like 300 PoE short). I've folded his money into my margin trading in hopes of getting us more money while everyone does stuff. Give him a hand folks!

Yeah, but sea charts would certainly be useful to have for the gaps that may form.

Since we haven't really had much of a discussion, anyone who feels like it is free to send me any doubloons they have and I'll hang onto them. Either catch me on IRC or in game and I'll tele you to my house so you can give them to me, or you should be able to /tip doubloons to me. If anyone has an issue with this do not hesitate to ask.

Edit: On the note of sending me money for the crew, if you do make sure you announce it to me so I know to mark it down someplace (likely in the first post).

Edit2: If anyone needs help on the puzzles do not hesitate to ask, but if you'd like to watch some video guides on the minigames Dachimpy has a pretty good website set up (not the best layout, but decent guides none-the-less) You can find them here: http://www.dachimpy.com/index.php

I think it acts as a parlor badge and a pirate badge.  The parlor badge lets you play all the inn games (poker, swordfighting etc).  I can't remember if the pirate badge does anything really worthwhile, its just stuff like access to the gunning/navigation practice missions.

Btw Kirubo http://sage.puzzlepirates.com/yoweb/pirate.wm?target=Kirubo is my pirate on sage.  I've been playing this game on and off since more or less when it was first released, I haven't played in about a year, but feel free to look me up in game if you want info on anything.

One thing that would be awesome is if you could see if you have any charts you could consider selling us. That's the other big thing we will need once we get the ship are at least a handful of admiral-island centered charts so we can find stuff. Alternatively if you could point us to an NPC or something else we could get some basic charts on that'd be awesome too.

Edit: Crap, didn't think I Was in a new post... Sorry guys!

On sage right now you could set up a buy order to get doubloons at 1,766 PoE per a doubloon.

the stAARter badge lasts for 5 login days and functions as both a pirate and a parlor badge.

I'll be getting online in a minute Seriyu, hop on the IRC chat (mibbit link if you do not have a client is in the first post) and I'll be able to chat with ya.

I'll be afk for the next 10 minutes, but if you get on IRC you will definately get me or someone else (good six of us in here at the moment, so someone should be playing)

Added you to the main post Bordellimies. If you are not in the main post by this post please do tell me, I've tried to get everyone in there.

Also could someone connect to the Bay12PP channel by not-mibbit? I want to see if the mibbit link I created leads to the proper IRC server/channel.

For the sake of reference, I've put the mibbit link in the first post as well. If it leads to the same place then it'll save people from having to deal with setting IRC stuff up I'm hoping. Mibbit seems pretty reliable.

The mibbit link in the first post works, I'm talking to apple in IRC right now with it and he's using a software client.

Edit:

Something interesting I just found out. Apparently the doubloon wallet on an account is shared between all three pirates on the acct. Such that if I have say 10 doubloons on sage and make a new pirate on hunter, the new pirate has access to those doubloons on that ocean. I haven't tested this yet though as I just found out about it (right) after I left home, so I got no way to test it until another 10 hours or so)

I just now realized that in spite of myself I never actually explained how to invite someone to your house...

Basically you just sit inside your house and type /invite piratename and they'll get a popup asking if they want to come over and check out your house. After that they have the choice of paying 1,250 PoE for a shack or setting the inn as their home.

If no on else gets you to Admiral Seriyu, I'll be on later tonight (say about 11 or 12 hours from now) and be more than happy to bring out over.

Also thanks for the IRC channel Apple Master, I'll put that in the first post along with the Raidcall infomation and try to get a mibbit link set up tonight after I get home from work.

Something for us to start thinking about, what name do you guys think our crew should have? Also I've heard something about crew colors (Which sounds more like a player idea than an actual function of having a crew) which would also be something interesting to hear from you guys about.

Roomates in a shack on Admiral and a treasure chest would work nicely, assuming you trust the people here not to yank all the stuff out.

Problem with this would be as far as I can understand you are maxed at one roomate per shack, so it'd essentially be identical to just giving me the money since I'd have to kick people from roomate so others could contribute.

I mean, I have no trouble just holding onto the cash for everyone, I just do not want to go into this assuming I will hold said money.

Edit: No idea how to play it in stealth mode, but if you wanted you could always just down it off of steam to play it (I think you still get the bonus with an on-steam account but I am not too sure)

If you are online right now send 'Denzi' a tell in game and I'll get you set up on Admiral island and help you out with chat in game if you'd like.
