I think vertical bars should be able to be slid down, and not climbed up, or else only very slowly climbed up. The only reason I want to do this is because it'd look kinda cool, but I'm sure others can think of more practical uses.

Now there's nobles inside. Nobles only make people unhappy. Then again, I don't think nobles can even COME if you're not doing a variety of jobs.

I can't remember. If I keep animals caged do they still reproduce via spores or whatever? I don't want all my animals running around, but I want them to breed.
No. Try throwing them into a 1X1 pit with a locked door. They'll have an orgy without being able to path, reducing lag.

The title reminds me of the track from La-Mulana, "Mr. Explorer." The only one you'll hear if you bought something other than the hand scanner at the beginning, other than the title and building tracks...
But I digress. I have no good fortresses... Except one. It's on an island though.

Myzhak was created of nothing. Nothing compressed into geometric polyhedrons. They formed to create him. Why? Because myzhak had willed himself to be. And he believed his will absolute, and set out to make it as such.
But first, he needed a plane of his own. So, he created Laygu'lan. A large expanse of plains with mountains spattered throughout about every 100 miles, with vegetation of an even forest amount near and on the mountains with the plains as shrublands (with small patches of forest. There was a sun, and the plane was a constant temprate climate. There were bottomless pools of water that drew water from the ground to refill themselves, and created water if there was no water in the ground. There was rain every once in a while, flooding the grasslands.
