Dragon colors... Do you mean only colors, or should their scales be really made out of some metals?

I meant that they would be different depending on colours - red breathes fire, green perhaps poison gas etc. and the metallic dragons could breathe their respective metals, and yeah, it can't hurt for their scales to be made of metals - only problem is though, that then what happens is that if say, a bronze dragon, breathes molten bronze, it will end up getting it on its bronze scales... and melting through them!

You should probably move this to one of the lower forums, but as to why it is... maybe the pawn is pinned (you can't move it because otherwise the king would be in check from another piece).

Haven't tried it, but I don't think the extra food should work - the file itself is called 'item_ff', but in the file, first line it says 'item_extra'.

@SirHoneyBadger: you've said that a fluffy wambler is 2/3 the size of an adult dwarf. Actually they're 2/3 the size of a BABY dwarf.

I'll post a creature I've created. For anybody who's read the Novels of Niflheim series, they're supposed to be a bit like raudren. I think they're a bit over-powerful so far, four of them can take down a dragon with reasonable certainty (and these are my own, slightly buffed dragons)!

You could, but then the untrained peasant might be the one which which digs out the vein of gold, while the legendary +5 digs out some useless rock. Another thing you can do is draft them into the military, give them the equipment you want, then enable hunting on them, then undraft them. They'll hold onto the equipment you gave them. Of course, this suffers from a similar problem: you get untrained peasants going out to hunt bears, and getting killed.

@G-flex: Yes, I know the wood racegloss changes the name, but does the metal racegloss? Because I just get 'colossus' instead of 'steel colossos' (I modded colossi to be of any metal by giving them the metal racegloss)

@Doomshifter: in the actual name of the Magnemite, did it say 'Adamantine Magnemite', or did it just say 'Magnemite', and you find out that it's adamantine after you kill it, and it drops some wafers? Because from what I've found, the metal racegloss doesn't change the name, unless I'm doing something wrong, and I'm really hoping I'm wrong.
