So, I am making an overhaul mod.

I have this civ based off of the dwarf in vanilla.

All I did was remove permitted job bowyer or something near that, and now I can not set any dwarf to do a woodworking related labor.
Quite hard on the fact that I want to make beds...

Any Idea why removing it would do that?
And how to make it work with bowmaking removed?

Yes, dig a maze all those 30 z-levels.
And build a farm on the surface -.-
Make sure to close it in with constructions.

Ya, just dig down to the rock.

Under the first level, make a small room for a farm, and place a brewery int he room accross.
If we have no seeds, brew a few plants. ONLY a few. If we have seeds, start planting right away.

Um, on level 3? Bedrooms, some workshops...

What to do? Dig down a few levels until we reach rock. Then construct a small entrance around our entrance ramps/stairs.
That's my vote, anyway, for the very first thing.

I'm getting a crash any time I try to create a squad in Linux.
Linux Billengate 2.6.31-20-generic #58-Ubuntu SMP Fri Mar 12 05:23:09 UTC 2010 i686 GNU/Linux

I'm getting this as well, running the Linux version in Arch Linux.

I don't know if this has been answered yet, but I want a certain creature to appear in ALL biomes except water.
Underground, on the surface...

How do I do this? If possible.
