You could also do a Redwall approach and have 1 mouse dwarf carry a sword and armor, so he could be the abbey's champion.

-Has to be a good friend of mine.
-Must have thieving skills.

Also, I'll expand my complex a little more. Maybe add in some kind of vault, and chambers for my upcomingThief guild friendly group of friends!
