Anyway, I've been reading "You Damn Kid!" which is a rather hilarious webcomic about the author as a child. This is probably good representation of what it's about. One of the main themes of the strip seems to be the contrast between how things really are and how people actually behave and such things are portrayed in polite society.

Drawing made me happy today. Lots 'n' lots of drawing, despite the fact that I still think I suck at it.

The thing about the Rapture is that the world isn't ending.  The Protestants are leaving, but we're stuck with the Catholics (not that I mind).

You'll be stuck with some Lutherans. I can't speak for all, but I know my synod formally denies the Rapture. I'm assuming you only get Raptured if you believe in it.

I just had a funny thought: If I recall correctly, The Communist Manifesto has conversions for the values of various goods in relation to one another. So I was thinking that one could perhaps use this to establish market prices in a PnPRPG world that doesn't use currency.

I agree with you completely. Pea pods are delicious, and peas cooked in pea pods don't become mushy.

Okay, it's not really full by most definitions of the word; there are only three in there (four, if you count the one I'm about to eat), but they're all ham and cheese subs on white bread and each bagged individually for convenient carry and consumption.
