Oh, I see! You seem to be having fun in that village though! Seems to be a very nice one ;)
Oh no, It's very currupt, You get killed if you don't do what you say. All the powers, including me, are in charge of everything there is no voting. That's why I'm taking like 3 people and we are taking what we want then going to "get lost" when we move soon.

Please do say when that happens, I'd like to join in and be the most complete noob in your party :D

A loud car is usually big enough to plow straight through the fungaloids with no issue as long as you don't plan on stopping anywhere.  And even then they are easily outrun if you park your car a distance away from what yer planning to enter.  Though you do wanna make sure you are wearing mouth protection.

I learned this the hard way. I found my first ever motorbike (I'm not too big on vehicles, at least not yet) and I recently had a bad run in with fungaloids. Both of my arms being mangled and broken, I set off on a desperate quest to find a hospital.

What I found was cougars. And fungaloids. A lot of fungaloids.

Shame, it was a nice bike...

Dorfs, man.  Prioritizing is not a thing they do.

Unless we're the ones doing it wrong. Life, after all, is ephemeral. Cabinets are the only things that last, and should help us all realize our place in things - that even after we all are dead and gone, that cabinet we scratched our names onto as children will remain.

On Break

Well what do you know, I just got an invitation to the closed beta. Might well try it, but my gaming time is dwindling while my library grows...

i might have a go at this. kinda bad at Fortress mode, though.

Don't worry, it'll just keep things fun! Do you have a side preference?

It's not destroyed, it's given to the Ideal Masters in the Soul Cairn where they mill about, guarded by a dragon for all eternity.

"Sent to the farm Eternal Masters"

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Further support for Dark Souls 2 being a prequel:
There appears to be fire magic. In one of the videos, the player casts a flame from the same wand as other magic.
Quote from: Izalith Catalyst
Catalyst of the Witch of Izalith of long ago, when her daughters were still flame witches, before they were engulfed by the Chaos Flame. Before the birth of pyromancy, their wands were mediums for sorcery, but knowledge of this flame sorcery has long since vanished.

Hmm, I'm fairly certain that Dark Souls 2 is happening at roughly the same time. They said it will be related, but not a direct sequel. *Shrug* From are huge trolls though, for which I love them.

How could it? Dragons are still around in it, and it's been pretty well established that they're pretty close to extinct by the time Dark Souls 1 takes place.

I'd like to continue this discussion, but I suggest we take it to [DS2] thread.

I was under the impression that the main setting for the game is a sort of dragon retreat/crazy laboratory. That's why there are skeletons of dragons everywhere inside. In addition, there are drakes all over Dark Souls so it still doesn't rule anything out. I'll rewatch the trailers and see if I missed something...

the new Mad Max game won't take place in Australia. Fuck. That. Shit.

This is... slightly... dissapointing... What the fucking fuck?

inb4 is has zombies, cash shop and social media interaction so you can stay connected to your friends.
Not to mention killstreaks and unlockable BiggerManlierGunsBrah

Okay, you win. That made me feel depressed.

Hey, you missed the part where you start with a minigun, full skills and a tank.

Nah. There's casual gameplay, and there's cheating :P Good examples of casual games are Cut The Rope, Angry Birds and Farmville. Something that is fun, challenging enough but very fair, and not at all stressful or time consuming.

Half a year ago ,I suppose.

If you ever have a night to waste, try it again. The current version is running very smoothly.

*cough* Back on topic!

Casual Cataclysm DDA: Food and sleep are no longer an issue, and are instead used to provide buffs. Zombies are all shambling corpses that move slower than you. Wildlife prefers to stay in the forest, and only attacks when threatened.

Sadly, on my computer it's more like

Yeah, crocodiles are sometimes knights, and the boats are really rafts in disguise.
Wanted to play a turn, please wait for 5 minutes
What a nice save you got there, on no, now you don't
etc...

Ordinary civ is fine, as are other mods.  They packed a bit to much stuff in it, making it less coherent and rather unstable.

When have you tried that one last? I hear their older versions were a lot less stable; current one only crashes on me if I play for many hours on end and reload frequently (yeah, that NEVER happens :P)

Another great turn for Red! The cobaltite and cinnabar were brought here from the Mountainhome by the initial builders. I don't know if there are any native variants.

Here are the fortress' current stats: (most booze, if not all of it, belongs to Red)

Uh oh, I hope Blue had something to drink at all. Poor dwarves must be half-crazed. And that vampire is no joke. Good job on spotting him!

I was reading this carefully from the start and want a turn, of whatever team.

EDIT: Oh, look like there're no overseers left? So that means it's my turn, right?

Indeed, welcome to the blue team! You have an uphill battle ahead of you, including an aquifer that has challenged previous overseers. And seemingly a bugged terrain spot?

I'll have a look at the save after work, and do an appropriate update from the Mountainhome. In the mean time, start whenever yer ready!
You may have to start playing dirty...

Hardcore Civilization IV: Caveman 2 Cosmos mod. Seriously.

You want a civilization? Good luck collecting rocks and twigs. You want population growth? You're funny. You want to explore? This cave lion doesn't think so.

Later on, nice economy you have there. Would be a shame if crime happened to it...

Seriously, check that mod out :D
