same here I wouldn't have gotten the first adventurer child born without Runesmith.
sadly with .17 out I sense tons of members wanting this to be updated,
and by jovi this might take a couple of pages.
Patience is indeed a virtue my evil little body swapping, baby snatching Necromancer....

baby snatching? I never got the chance to snatch babies from families due to the baby/noble/child profession keeps them from joining.
though sensing the lack of patience coming with the recent ADV. update and the huge uproar version '.16' had.... didn't see why though.

to be honest I'm shock .10 regions work in .17 I'm appalled that the need to walk out of mountain homes/FORTS/LAIRS (above ground) before you can fast Travel SUCKS DWARVEN BEARDS. 


ps. Sizeak oh take your time please don't take what I say as a means of rushing.
Pss. body snatching, baby making, got a whole lot harder now with the lack of fast travel into Civ cities hovels yes cities no.

I brought up a old body swap save into 17 and found out that not being able to TRAVEL OUT of a open town a Game killer.
the fact you can't Travel out or into a fort seems unnecessary.
maybe Toady forgot that and we might get a 18 with abilities to do so.
it's a Pain to walk to a hole in a ground kill every one there then walk out.
fast travel to the fort then walk to the fort and find someone.
and having to do that with a character with 400 speed is enough to toss .17 in the trash bin.
maybe i'm tick off on the lack of making adamantine statues or carving statues out of stuff combined with
oh also when body swapped(version .10) you can't talk to Gods... some how .17 disprove all gods or something and trying to talk to them leads to a crash lovely.

the first thing I said when seeing the Travel screen.

"dang this game became Oblivion!?"
then proceeded to continued to struggle with a bronze Colossus starting with no skills.
really hope the Companion screen had a little bit more to it than checking Stats.

just completed the first quest so dang stressful... mostly due to having botch the Bronze stats by forgetting to add in intelligence leading to all skills to be wipe out. ... I figured this out from having to miss 50 times on grabbing a Moon troll. the Night and Day system seems fine but the fact your now a wandering HOBO kinda makes playing this game a little jarring.
forcing folks to be Homeless is worst than wanting to be Homeless.

No, they're not. Trees don't feel pain.

But yes, Elves making everything from wood still doesn't make sense though.
well in a personified way if one think of photosynthesis, yet you are correct Trees can't emote Pain, Ent's on the other hand.

didn't threetoe's stories say elves are mostly the booze up folk who only go high and mighty outside of their lands, or was it that one band of elves?

Elves don't like to harm the earth, that includes cutting into it.
Besides, have you never broken a branch from a tree? You'd be supprised just how much wood you can get without killing trees you know.

getting version 1.3, so I will need to use "Give senientance to creature" in the tool menu then use the embark function? and then utimatly embark, to have them to be assigned to milita and noble? and would this also include them getting married and reproducing?
from my progress all you need is the Pet tag on the creature for them to start breeding but expect no father's listed. though on the subject of the no towns.
I think the reason is that the protagonist from final fantasy 8 covers the whole town in his Emo gunbladeness so finding like finding a needle in a hay stack. I think using adventurers to map out the area would be a great idea if not the gunbladeness also blocking out land marks... yeah sucks but I do notice how stupid fast this (.13) version is compared to 10. it's like all wild life got wipe out for Cpu space.

hmm so one could slap this on before embarking into a human town on humans and they will be able to apply to said noble ranks?

also I wonder why the offset in the new one isn't a set of numbers like the last projects you had.

The last -f check seem to fail on CreatureGloss.

Offsets now are in hex (it was in base 10 before) and also now it's possible to add script to find new offsets.
And i really need to add some sort of way to get DF version :/. Also is the site down? or is it just me?

EDIT: try new version with "-c" flag Rumrusher.
sweet thanks will try also could you add a profession changer? so that I can bypass the noble and children canceling the ability to join you.
oh good news I finally got a child to be brought in 31.xx the lass name is Rush Covensports and was born from normal human parents using the pet tag only. Sadly this lead to the father still not to be named.

Good news I finally got this to work in 31.xx(.10 should work in all versions though) using the [pet] tag.
Sadly this cause the effect of the child not having a father yet again even when mother and father are best friends.

So I added a stone layer called "clown", initially for the sake of having entries such as "clown door", "clown staircase", etc.
Breach HFS:
"Clown Demon"
I bet many people have done this already, but still, I find it hilarious.
Oh my when we get target strikes remember to hit it in the "dead lights" and rip's it heart out.

wooo! finally got a adventure child.
sadly the mother is someone no from the tame set.
and now after having the kid I don't have a way to remove the child class or remove the need to kill it self.

edit: False alarm last some how was already knock up to begin with and the child father is miles away.
good news is that the adventurer couple bump up to Friends!

edit: the female Rushan Coversport born nov. 9 at 3 : 11 AM
you can get two adventures to have a child in 31.XX
now the only problems I can see from here on out is removing the Baby profession and the need to kill it self when it's not near it's mother.
time to update the adventurer breeding thread again!
