Yep they definitely fly, unaffected by Lava (some spawn there?) I managed to crush them all with some cave-ins(Took like 20 tries to get something that works)

Though now that they're dead I'm kinda dissappointed.

Nothing on the surface of hell that was worth the trouble, just the adamantine pipe is now safe to mine. Unless someone can work out how to obtain slade.

Also some less rapey demons have spawned, I think it works like wildlife, once theres none left they spawn more.

Not sure if they spawn the weak demons on purpose or if I got lucky and the last 5 or so were killable.
well once you clear out move in.
the only problem I wish we had was those HUGE reclaim armies to zerg down there.
but the ability to have over 150 zlevels over your head while you settle in hell is more enough for this person to try flooring over the slade. yeah I think slade is smooth able and one can engrave into it but with the fact there's a temple kinda proves that. maybe it can be muddied?

maybe friendly amphibious order no killing, you should have just wall up the area or made a burrow near the wagon and order the miner there.
it seems like the miner said some offensive things to there people they made a good comeback he got mad and got his beard shove down his throat.
also animal men are part entity so it makes sense that only a few are friends to other civs(due to trading perhaps?).

is there a raw change that can make killing friendly units okay.
or do I need to wait for a utility that grants that right to off nobles.

well there some word about a awesome sword that one could pull that makes a stairwell down best to save the sword pulling for the fable chosen one.

If that is true, then all one would need for a "safe" trip to Clown Land is to dig a hole to the ruins and remove the sword in adventure mode. Granted, this requires getting past the invunerable skeletal creatures only to be horrificly murdered by demons, but thus is the life of an dwarf. On the other hand, you could run away, ensuring the world has a direct highway to hell. I'm sure the civs will find that fun.
or you could just make the pit to hell next to a goblin fort. they love horrors of the deep and many of those witches will just move in and take up jobs like law enforcer, judge, janitor so going back to reclaim is easy.

once you freeze it over best grap a pick and make a fort down there.
I don't know if smoothing slade makes it digable or just building a floor is the only way but I would love to see a trade/raiders try to get me under ~150z levels.

They don't show up in legends, and I can't play as kobolds from the adventurer race selection screen. All I did was give kobolds [INTELLIGENT] while removing [CAN_LEARN].
did you add adventure tag on them? they need that.
kobold are near caves while I still can't get animal men.

It seems they know you're there but not exactly where.

Instead of total invisibility it's a defense against ranged attacks. Still useful but not as overpowered.
so don't waste training ambush unless your fighting arrows?

find sword leave go in as adventure pull said sword FUN times a roll!.
also one can build on slade just make floors on the ground that should cancel the effects.and grant you sites I just did on my 3rd reclaim some how the witches down in the suger mill seem to have left*.  hopefully I can finished off the dining hall and bed rooms with out much dangers.


*except for one who attack us but we crowned her quickly, I think embarking one tile to the right of a goblin fort helps with roaming witches.
