Yep, last game the CCS completely destroyed me. The trick is to kill them before it's too late; but that's not very useful, because they are already strong in your game. Best advice I could give is get MAD MONIES first; maybe have several squads all thieving a downtown apartment at the same time if need be. Go buy swords at the Oubliette and manufacture body armor. Get some dedicated swordsmen - you'll want people who have good sword-skill capacity, not skill - and move them to a downtown apartment. Have them go out and kill maybe 3 people at a time near the entrance, then run out before the police come. Increase this as time goes on; eventually with sword skill of around 10 you can beat off maxed SWAT teams with ease. Get your dudes back home and train everyone in sword. Behead everyone. Win.

Granted, your life is filled with pain and anguish and horror. Your death comes when you finally commit suicide to escape it all, only it turns out hell is real and it's made just for you.

Well, if you are very rich, you can hire tons of guys in Hummers with RPGs and blow the police up.

Coding and DF are pretty different. I'm not a programmer by any means, but it seems to me that coding never really requires "scaffolding", because it's not physical. You never have to build some code to climb up on build some different code and then destroy the first code; you can always just build the code right from the start. So, it may be against coding nature to use scaffolding; but is it not clear that if you were a construction worker, there would be no other way?
