"Which one was that, again?" You question the scientists. They simply smile smugly and continue with whatever it is they're doing.

One pulls out a large opaque syringe and inserts it into your arm before inserting some unknown substance into you. The room flashes a few times and then things start growing out of proportion. You are a tiny little being in a massive room filled with hundreds of massive men laughing manically and leaving you helpess, restrained on the table. Suddenly the restraints are gone and everything is as it should be once again. Except for one thing, there is a being of bright light in the room with you, no one seems to care about it, they're just staring at you, shocked.

Travis heads back to the mess, slightly hungry. Upon arriving he orders himself some food and a small amount of vodka, or failing that, beer. He then heads over to a table with lots of people and strikes up a conversation with a woman.

"Good eve, what may a sweet mistress like yourself be doing in a tavern such as this?"

Hehe, I actually just spent half an hour looking at this game and getting hold of some rulebooks and then I find this! I'm in!

Is it just a RTD with a theme or does it have strict rulesets?
As far as I know this is a proper rpg with rulesets, but I haven't read through the rules yet so I'm not sure.

The Law of Conservation of Detail.
I know this is probably irrelevant, but this is one of the major rule I once violated, and my RTD collapsed under its own sheer weight as a result...In short: Do not put too much irrelevant details into the game.

And if you're going to include a plot, do not do too much railroading. And depending on the seriousness of the game, the importance of actually staying on plot may vary.

Finally...Hosting a roleplaying game of any sort can be cumbersome sometimes. Try to keep it going as long as you can comfortably.

I'll post the turn in a bit, having a bath now though. But yeah, those are more akin to mutants from the S.T.A.L.K.E.R series than people.

"Where am I?" You ask, getting straight to the point.

"Hehe, always wanting to know things that aren't important; all you need to know is that you're not leaving any time soon." He tells you.

You resspond to this by spitting in his face. It is quite evident that he is slightly annoyed at your insubordination but he manages to keep calm.

"'Here to kill us all' 'messenger of God', oh, you didn't respond very well to the last part of the project, did you?" He half chuckles, "You went mad, started murdering the scientists. So we administered a rather powerful amnesiac to you, after all, we couldn't afford word getting out about how 'the world is ending', could we?"

After saying this he turns and walks out of the room, calling one thing to you as he leaves, "Your world is ending."

He then leaves you all alone in the room, but after a while a few men in white coats enter.

"Are we ready to complete the treatment then?" One asks you.

You hide and watch for a while, managing to stay unseen. After a while you seem to notice that the smaller mutant is actually commanding the others, he seems to be a boss of some sort.

You check back on the mutants, calling to Chas to come back, and take anything useful from them. You find some 9mm ammo on them and a few shells. Ahh, yes, shells, shells are the currency you use on this island and in a few other places around the world. One shell is about equivelant to a pound. You have no clue how they came to be a currency, though, it was probably just a whimsical thing started by a few civvies. You continue onwards towards Huge Ben and the sun is just setting when you find your path blocked by a small pack of mutants. The only problem is one doesn't seem the same as the others, he's much smaller but with a rather large head.

You yell at the top of your voice in the hope that someone will come and find you and wait. After a few minutes of yelling and waiting a few men in masks and white coats come in to your room, mumbling to each other. One of the pulls out a radio and calls someone in, saying that the subject is awake. You are once again left on your own while you wait for this person to come to see you. Eventually you hear heavy footsteps coming from a nearby coridoor and a rather large man in a suit comes to talk to you.

"Hello there, subject 1, or do you prefer Frederick now?" He asks you smugly.

Guys, I'm trying to keep this at least semi-serious, would you mind giving proper suggestions?

You tell Chas to keep running while the three of you stop and shoot the oncoming mutants.  Chas rins forward and you and yourr teammates take aim at the monstrosities and open fire. Half of them drop like flies so you quickly reload and start firing again. Once they're finished off you catch up with Chas.
