Give the dog some meat, everyone except Holly eats the stale (not rotten!) berries. Holly eats meat.

Girls: Work on turning the pelts into clothing for everyone.

Bill: Finish your broom

Ash, Peter and Davey: Go hunting for small critters, stay away from the beast

Walt: Sharpen the edges of the wolf scapulas (The shoulder blades kind of have an edged shape, so it should be easiest to use as a hatchet head.)

Cast Hunting Charm (2 mp)
Research Summon Fluff (3 mp)
2 Mp goes to Mana Storage.

Three units hunt. One unit travels to L14, taking 4 food and explores the new hex. One unit gathers and processes the herbs. The final unit teaches the hippos to hunt! Yay!

With the population ever increasing, the Dandy Lions stare down starvation. The newest pride joins the traditionalists, hunting. This time, however, they have an edge, a bit of magic.

One half of the group of scouts decides that there is nothing worthwhile in their current territory, and heads towards the forests. The other half gathers up the medical herbs, already wondering if they can be used as poison.

The innovative group contemplates their catch, a small herd of hippos. Considering the hippo's massive bulk and savage temperment, they decide that the hippos would be best put to use slaughtering all the nearby prey, and indoctrinate them to do so.

(Flying golems?! It must be done!)

Three questions:

1) How do non-mana points work? Do you spend them as mana points, or is there a separate category of things to buy with them?

2) Can you move units and then use them in the hex they move to in the same turn?

3) How do the land values effect the ability to gather?

Well, let's at least process the moose before it goes rotten.

Research Hunting Charm, 2 MP
2 MP To Mana Pool

2 Dandy Lion units hunt, 1 attempts to domesticate animals, 1 surveys the hex

All was quiet on the Dandelion Plains. Not a bird sang; it would have been eaten. Not one ungulate bellowed; it would have been eaten. Not even a single insect chirped; it probably wouldn't have been eaten, but remained silent for dramatic effect.

In the midst of this silence, four groups of Dandy Lions contemplated their next meal. Two groups took the traditional method, relying on charm to lead a prey critter astray into the tall grass, where it would be devoured.

The third group surveyed the terrain, flaunting their petals at the prey animals as they walked past.

In the midst of the fourth group, one Dandy Lion mage had a revolutionary idea. What if they didn't devour every single animal they charmed, but instead kept some for the lean times? The Lions of that group set to work on this immediately.

In the beginning, there were many creatures. Some were fierce, others were meek, but none were loved as much as the Dandy Lion. So lovely and adorable was the Dandy Lion, that not even the most skittish of creatures feared to lie down beside it.

And that was their undoing.

As time passed, many species vanished mysteriously. The prey animals were puzzled, but were not intelligent enough to link it to the culprits, the Dandy Lions, who continue to grow fat on the animals of the plains to this day.

Race: Dandy Lions
A race of sentient lions with yellow flower petals in place of fur and the ability to grin. Their main weapons are a false sense of security and razor sharp claws. They are vicious, bloodthirsty and absolutely Adorable.
Starting point: M15
Magic: Adorability
A form of deception and enhancement magic. The colors yellow, pink, baby blue, and lime green gain a boost in utility. The deadliness of an Adorable weapon is inversely proportional to how deadly it looks.

(If this is too silly I'll make a different one, but I think it'd be fun. :D)
