I made some Yittrasei writing, partly so that you have an idea of what it looks like, but mostly because I felt like it.  :D

Everyone, including the puppy, get everything (except the firewood) into the ribcage and pull the door shut behind you. Huddle together for warmth and use the mats as covers. Go to sleep.

I stand by my weird vision of the beast! :P

EDIT: Oh god that is even more meat than we could dream of!

Yeah but it would rot before we got a chance to eat it all. Ok, I will make it Leo's version as it seems funner.

We could share it with the neighbors, thus improving our standing with them and making it more likely that they'll do us favors later on. :D

...Yeah okay. We can leave it alone.  :'(

Bill, Ash, and Davey, go back to camp!

When you get there, Bill: Get some twigs together, braid some rope, and use the rope to tie the bundle of twigs to a pole. Now use the twiggy end of your new broom to sweep out the rocks and twigs from the ribcage.

Ash: Help Peter

Davey: Help Walt

Should we attack the beak-dog? I vote yes.

Walt: Sharpen the edges of the wolf scapulas (The shoulder blades kind of have an edged shape, so it should be easiest to use as a hatchet head.)

Women: Work on foot baskets

Peter: Keep working on the skins. When you finish the last one, weight down one end of the pelt with rocks and try to stretch the skins.

Bill, Ash, and Davey: Sneak around behind the creature if possible. Attack when it goes to drink.

Okay, maybe we don't need ALL the men to watch the beast. Still, I think we need to scout out this thing. How about Ash, Davey, and Bill?

All men equip weapons, examine the beast from a distance. Study its movements, look for claws, fangs, ect.

Women: Continue work on foot coverings.

That beast is going down.

Walt: Skewer some meat on a branch and hold it in the smoke

Women: Keep making the mats

Peter: Clean the hides, try to stretch them out as much as possible before they dry, use rocks to weight the edges and keep them stretched out

Ash and Davey: Keep gathering, look for stones as well.

Bill: Keep working on the cage!

He has the general area (that you know of) up under the description of your tribe. Still, some map features would be nice! Are the grey areas mountains? Which shade is the highest altitude?
