... I don't like where this is going..

I was going to post the perfect picture for this thread earlier. It was a picture of a ship captain with something similar to "Thar be a shitstorm a brewin" on it. Damn I wish I still had that one.

This may be relevant:

Wikipedia Article w/ Religious Demographics over Time

Basically, the percentage of religious people is going down, but the numbers are still going up.

Thanks for the link, should prove useful when I have some more time (and some sleep).

I don't see why people argue about this so much. As far as I know the amount of religious people and their fervor go down every year... This is an argument that will solve itself. Unless something horrible happens like a second dark age.

This is actually not that true. I am relatively certain religious participation is going up at this time and not down.

I am just going by my own passing observations, so you may be right. I suppose I should conduct some serious research on it sometime to make sure.

Umm, I would say be yourself. It would be best if you found someone who loves you knowing your disposition, rather than someone loving you based on what is essentially a lie. Feel free to ignore me though, I'm probably crazy by most peoples standards.

I just got an email today from sony regarding their BS.

"To show our gratitude for your patience and support, SOE is offering a Welcome Back program. As part of this program, you will receive 45 days of game time (30 days plus 1 day for each day of the outage), added to your Station Account. This game time applies to any game you have currently or previously activated on your Station Account.

For those customers currently on an active paying plan, this time will be added to the end of your current billing cycle. For all other customers, your time begins upon your first login to each of the relevant games.

Please note, customers must log in by 11:59 pm PST August 31, 2011 to claim the game time."

I guess that means I can put it toward a game even though I haven't had a sub in forever. I'll probably go for Planetside, loved that game. I couldn't stand the community though so I left it, I'm hoping some old veterans also decide to play again. Everything was better in the good old days before giant mecha, caves, and that retarded bending thing. Also before Reavers were buffed, damn them whores to hell!

Oh, does this count as a necro btw? Never been to keen on forum etiquette.

Well, since there seems to be a lack of demonic armies and earthquakes I suppose nothing is going to happen today. I found out today that my aunt actually bought into this, or atleast thats what my mom said. I hope she was just screwing with her...

My eyesight has gotten worse, and my left eye is nearly worthless now. I can't make hardly any use of it by itself, it just wont focus anymore. Well, atleast it still contributes slightly when I use both eyes. Hmph, wouldn't surprise me if I was blind by the time I'm 40 or 50. Its a shame, I was a great shot with rifles back when I was a kid. Well, there is always glasses or eye surgery. Actually, screw that, I'm waiting for cybernetics.

Glasses are sexy.
Always.
Any time they aren't, the person just doesn't have the right frames.
Luckily for me, both of mine are equally bad and I'm still a good shot (lefty too).

I've never been a fan of wearing them myself, though I do admit they have a certain charm to them. I guess at this point I don't have much choice though. I just barely passed the eyesight thing for driving a year or two ago, and that was only because the guy was nice enough to let me go again. I'm even worse now... Hell, I end up closing my left eye when I read. Look like damn Popeye when I'm on the computer. Hmm, I wonder if they still make monocles, I've always wanted one of those.

If in 2 hours nothing happens, than This guy just raked in $8 million and ruined lives.

I never realized religious nutjobs could be so profitable. Now I'm tempted to get in on the action  :P

I found a new monitor (BenQ XL2410T) I would like for my good computer but I can't find any place that includes a good warranty or atleast a discount. I've searched the internet for days for monitors and about 2 days for a good deal on the one I decided on. I am really really sick of thinking about monitors  >:(.
