Currently the main things that bother me are....

Not being able to remove stairs from the bottom to the top (so I can dig a pit without leaving a staircase).

Game is to easy.

Can't manage my military dwarves inventory enough to make them let go of items they wrestle away from other dwarfs. If they happen to own the item they wrestled away you can't even make them drop it with the dump command (should be fixed in the next version I think).

Deciding they are to thirsty to complete a task while almost there/almost done (Taken care of in the next version).

Not being able to engrave constructed walls/floors.

Dwarves running off into the wilderness when threatened rather then running toward saftey when they have a direct and safe path to it. Should be personality based IMO, calm ones will choose a safe route to a safe place while the less cool headed ones run in a random direction.

The reply box is starting to harrass me so I'll just leave it at that for now.

Or atleast a summary of what metals can be used for sparring and so on

yea, I'd like to know what the values for armor/weapons are of the new metals..

I just had an idea for a Semi-megabeast, or maybe just a regular monster depending on how effective it is.

Chupacabra- Have it start sneaking and path to any of your tamed pets and attack them, after it kills them it should go back into sneak and repeat. Should give it a ton of speed to compensate for sneaking all the time and to make it more dangerous in combat. If there are no tamed pets it should attack civilian dwarfs instead. Also, If it is cornered and can't escape it should fight as a creature normally would. Basically, I'm going for a hit and run monster. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chupacabra

I came across a few good ones

The Shameful Fingers- mountian range
The Armored Meteors- squad name
The Feral Pick- My very first forts civ name
Masionlure, Savagetorch, Ironsnarl- Top three fort names
The Dunes of Despair- My memory is a lil hazy but I think I had a desert named this on one world I got.
The World of Legends- Best world name I've generated
Fangdangled- A artifact chair consisting of a single highwood log

I think I've come across more than this, maybe I'll remember later.

I would like to see these as megabeasts

Ziz- A giant bird like monster, I would have it spawn with a bunch of hostile giant eagles when it appears on the map and have them follow Ziz(like a squad and a squad leader). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ziz

Behemoth- A giant cow like monster. Should be the Bigger than Ziz or Leviathan, very resistant to damage and slow. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Behemoth

Leviathan- Eh, not so big on the idea of aquatic megabeasts, but you can't have the first two without this one. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leviathan

Jormungandr- Also known as the Midgard Serpent, this one should take advantage of the upcoming breath attack feature to spray large clouds of poison. Should also be extremely massive and amphibious. If I had to chose one megabeast to add it would be this one. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Midgardsormr

I recently found a ideal spot for me to set up a fortress but the site is 8x8, I normally play on the default and get some slowdown after my fort fully matures. I want to know if  embarking at 8x8 would change some slowdown to massive slowdown. The site has every feature (minus a river which I'm tempted to expand a lil to get) and I'm runing a combo of Relentless Assault/Dig Deeper. The mods might make things slow down more then normal for all I know.

If I drop a critter into a deep pit and it lands on of my dwarfs or hounds will they get hurt?
