(Mainly the big cats and their giant versions.)
With strict birth control (child ratio = 0) and restriction of total population (80 max) in my latest embarks, I have use for every immigrant. And I found it to be much more utilitarian to let the elves live so they can take their useless crap (and some of mine) with them, as opposed to burning them alive.
So alas, no more senseless killing for me. Except goblins, but y'know.. Asking for it and all that.

...maces have 800 size and 20 contact area, while warhammers have 400 and 10. So maces are better.
Although arena testing shows warhammers to be better.
Actually, a smaller contact area is better. Weight distributed over a smaller area has more force. In other words, mace's 20 contact area is worse than warhammer's 10.
That's true, but all things being equal it is also double the total force. So, even though the psi is the same, there is more damage since more area is being hit. Of course, the trade off is that it hits less.
Someone should mod lead to be usable for weapons. Or the bedrock of the circus. THAT would be a hammer fit only for the strongest dwarves.
That... I'm going to have to figure out how to let all metals be usable now....
and oh god bedrock... a warhammer with a wt of...Code: [Select]400cm^3*200000g/cm^3=80,000,000g is about...oh dear god, that's EIGHTY EIGHT TONS.
Edit: silver hammers are 46 tons. Iron are 3 tons. O_o
