8 each stat. We can make super specialized beings later, let's make this one balanced.
void printOutput(float, float);
it's going of this, not this when determining the number and type of inputs.void printOutput(float x)
Anyway, I thought I had everything set up right, but building returned a few errors and it refuses to run. Mostly involving conversions from double to float (wtf? I defined no doubles)What lines are these errors on?
I am completely, 100% opposed to waiting. For one thing, Omo has made it clear that HE, at least, won't. And frankly, he is far more valuable to us than anyone or anything else here.I agree with all of this.
Our mother has made it clear she can try to identify this thing for us - ask her if she can do it discretely so the guy doesn't jack up the price, maybe? Anyways, it sounds like if she finds that it IS valuable, she might be willing to help us purchase it.
Meanwhile, meet with Omo. Tell him of what we've learned - and of what we've accomplished. While we didn't get permission to leave, we did some good and stopped them from clamping down tight on the border. Reaffirm that we have every intent of leaving with him before the fair ends, and ask him if he knows where we can find Elana - and if she might have any knowledge on how to communicate effectively over a distance. We're going to take a risk here, of course - if it falls through, we won't mention Omo. He should be able to get out without us if he still wants to leave. But if it works, we'll have an ally on the inside.
Then find Elana - I've got a plan. Ask her if she knows any way to send messages over a distance with magic. Let her know we WILL be leaving the veil one way or another, even if it kills us, but we'd like to do what good we can for the elves in the meanwhile, and communication will be valuable to that end.
I still think we should follow that amulet one way or another. It is the only source available to learn more about necromancy beyond solo experimentation and it could be very important.Yes, lets go to the jewelled coast.
i see 2 optionsNumber 2. Whatever it is, it seems to be benevolent.
either use song of pain and hope summoning the lost king doesn't kill us
OR
attempt to use the strange power?
"*targets" turns all remaining inputs into a list and assigns it to the value "targets". Since the only input that can be used for this is a list, targets is equal to a list contain a list containing the values:Code: [Select]import math
def trajectory(speed, *targets):
for arg in targets:
print((0.5*math.asin((32*arg)/(speed^2)))*(180/math.pi))
[snip]
trajectory(spd, tgts)
targets = [
[a1,a2,a3 ... ]
]
So when you iterate over it you get:arg = [a1,a2,a3 ... ]
NOTarg = a1
arg = a2
arg = a3
...
This errors because of the exact reason stated.trajectory(spd, tgts)
withtrajectory(spd, *tgts)
def trajectory(speed, *targets):
withdef trajectory(speed, targets):
+1first train it not to bite. then, eventually, we can transfigure our new pet into something. . . . . . . . useful for ether meat or protection.+1... And keep the hare.also, we should snatch some of the bones that fall. A bone sword/mace is better than one that can screw you over at a moments notice.plus 101Wait. look. We have another skeleton. The sword apparently turns things into other (possibly more dangerous) things.New plan: kill it with your bare hands, butcher it and go left.
In fact, I think, if we include an extremely short incubation time with high intelligence, we can easily create spies. A long incubation time denies that due to obvious symptoms.This might actually be a good idea.
