Up horde and parsite stamina.
Actualy, maybe we should pump all we have into making the parasite have the ability to live at least for ten minutes outside the host. That is time for it to infect as many on the floor as quietly as possible. then we can repeat. by the time we have our first zombie from the hospital, we would have infected everyone, including people who are going to going home soon.
It's not worth the effort. How many people are just going to let some parasite crawl into them?

Up Intelligence. We should be able to open doors etc.
Have you ever been in a hospital over night. Or really sick. Most sick people tend to try to sleep as much as possible, and sleeping people don't put up much of a fight. But the ability to open doors is nice too.
It only takes one person to notice us and tell a doctor, and how many people can we easily reach as some kind of worm thing?

So, looks like the current course of action is "MOOOOCH," "Meet with Elders," "Meet Elana hopefully," and "Negotiate with merchant." I will note that 100 gold is a lot of money- your parents are fairly well off, being public servants and all, but that's still like four month's pay even before you consider a fair amount of their compensation is in the form of food/housing.
I think this is pretty accurate, although we might want to switch the mooching and meeting with the Elders because of this:
As far as mooching goes - that's part of why I want to see the council. IF they turn us done, we act depressed and mopey and use THAT as an opportunity to guilt our mother into helping us buy us a piece of jewellery we really want but can't afford.

IF they decide to let us go, ask her for the money for the trip to help us come home safely.

We don't know anything about how we got here. Given the circumstances, telling her that she was dead seemed like a good idea. Since we have the opportunity to talk, why don't you tell us everything else that we shouldn't do?
