I also always found it funny that while reversing full speed, an out of control vehicle will instantaneously switch into 18th gear (or however high they go on those tanks) full speed forward. =P

To be honest I can't quite remember too much about the game.

EDIT: If you don't like micromanagement then perhaps you won't like it, as each infantry and vehicle (and crate) has an inventory, which usually isn't a problem when playing competetively, but in singleplayer and co-op it matters much more

Oh. Unfortunately as I said the AI is rather shite so the developers never bothered to make a skirmish mode

T_T

However, an expansion pack (of some sort) is coming (eventually) that will add something similar to skirmish mode, which makes me happeh =) haven't heard mucha bout it tohugh.

I believe they were using a mod though =p

Also, I forgot to mention. In Company of Heroes, I blew up an enemy STUG3 by shooting at its ass with SMG's ... =/ in MoW armor is modeled properly and bullets have physics and deflection off armor and shit. One time I threw a grenade into a halftrack and all the ammo inside of it started going off. it was pretty sweet.

Is MoW superior to CoH?

It depends on your perspective.

MoW is a bit more realistic in many ways but it is made by a smaller game company and is riddled with bugs and rather bad AI. (and the graphics aren't quite as pretty)
The buildings are destructible though, and I don't think the terrain can be deformed like I may have seen in CoH, but artillery and explosions will leave craters your infantry can use as cover.

Oh, and cover actually physically protects your soldiers instead of making it x percent harder for your guys to get hit.

They also never teach you how to use like 90% of the functions and buttons in the game.

I've never played competetively online though, so i dunno what to say about that.

My brother got this so I played it with one of my friends who is basically an RTS genius or something. We usually played against computers as well. Frankly I love co-op and such.

But then my brother wanted the game back.

And then I played MoW.

On a side note, artillery is what my friend hates about the game so much. The artillery comes within like 3 seconds of calling it in, and it's like MLRS's or something. It's pretty much as bad as Red Orchestra artillery.

That was pretty interesting. Is there a place that shows all the hotkeys?

Also, what I'm doing is just going to the server list and downloading all the maps it says I don't have... that way I have plenty =P

How often can games come up?

I must say, many of these new sprites are extremely spiffy. Sleeper looks ossum =P

Are the player models any good? We could remove the directional stuff right?

EDIT: Someone was talking to me 2 tiles away for like 5 minutes and I didn't get a single message. something is wrong. There was no table between us.

EDIT 2: However, when they are practically touching you you can converse.
