just a second, imma run df again just so i can see the artifacts description for you...

this is a arachna silk shirt, all craftsdwarfship is of the highest quality, it is decorated with arachna silk, it is made from arachna silk cloth
on the item is an image of partnermaxes the arachan silk shirt in arachna silk
on the item is an image of fel supperblossoms, the deity of loyalty, festivals, revelry, dance and music, depicted as a male jade dwarf and dwarves in spider silk, the dwarves are paying, fel supperblossoms is contemplating.

so!

it is a silk shirt, with a picture of itself on it, and a picture of what is basically dionysus of the dwarves

I bet Fel was wearing the shirt!

The human civ's law-giver just got beheaded by goblins right outside my door... This seems like bad news.

The Comet of Creeds!  Awesome, right?
It's a galena mini-forge.  Weak.

There's a siege outside that includes the demon leader of the goblins.  I just noticed that, in addition to her many bone and nail crafts, she's wearing fur sandals and silk socks.  Lemon fiends have no style.

Miner:  Help!  I'm stuck in a channel!  I haven't eaten in weeks, and I'm severely dehyrated!
Overseer:  Don't worry, good sir!  I've found the quickest way out - all you need to do is dig an upward ramp right there in the designated spot.
Miner:  Are you kidding me?!  I'm on break!  Don't make me call the union.

My tower-thing is going pretty nicely.  However, everyone's unhappy, and everyone's friends.  Maybe I should start making bedrooms.

There's a civ named The Bell Of Air in one of my worlds. They don't seem to have a prince though.

I would like it very much if you embarked as a group named The Fresh Prince, and shared the tales of your fortress.  Just sayin'.

"The war dog is caught in a cloud of boiling magma!"

Is that normal?  For the record, the dog was on the surface, and I haven't struck magma yet.  This was during a cave-in.

I started a little strip, but I've only made 2 so far.  Don't know when I'll get around to continuing it.

When I saw the title of this, my first thought was "FILL IT WITH STONE!"

Now that I've actually read it, I have no idea if that would help at all (probably not).  It'd still be cool, though.

I'm starting to develop a routine:
Caravan shows up.
Goblin ambush shows up and slaughters caravan.
Dwarves flee inside while goblins slaughter 2/3 of livestock.
Majority of goblins get caught in cage traps.
2 or 3 goblins hang around the entrance, while the dwarves hide out in the hospital.
I draft a bunch of civilians.
I send wave after wave of my own men to try and kill the two goblins, unsuccessfully.
PANIC

I saved my game right after an ambush appeared next to my legendary woodcutter.  I may or may not end up savescumming a couple times.

First time i've ever seen anyone in DF2010 survive a brain injury.

Back in the version where caverns were first introduced, I had a character with a bruised brain.  He survived, but he was drowsy for the rest of his life.  Not sure if that was why, though.

And the fifth panel is how I imagine them eating.

I hope he still has it, it's a classic!
