Can adventurers die from old age?
I can never figure that out. I've seen a lepord pull out bolts of it's body before, but I can never pull things out of myself.

Plus this was in adventure mode.

Still made sure he wasn't hungry or thirsy, by having him drink swamp water and eat mud.
He eventually went "stark raving mad". Didn't really think this was a big deal until I got to swamp water to get a drink, he got in it (started drowning though).
It this a glitch or does he want to kill himself (which I wouldn't blame him)?

One time I was on a glacier map, then all of the sudden, ALL of the ice melted instantanously.
Luckly I was able to get to a island of a single tile mud so I wouldn't drown.
He eventually froze to death, but the water didn't freeze.

He wouldn't stop giving into pain, even when I eventually leave the area and go to town.
How long does the pain usually last for a missing limb or is it permanent?
Only kabold master theives have them. You could just edit the data files so that the human and dwarf towns to have them, but you can't spawn with them.

This would be a great idea, in fact, it would also be great in adventure mode (spirits of dead adventures).

Is there a way to make a creature stationary, that is not being able to move, but will attack anyone who comes near them?
I want creatures that isn't like a flesh ball, but like a carnavorious plant or something.

It could be added to some of the unique monsters that live in the cold and/or we could have Spirits of Frost?

Add this to your thylacine, just above it's population_number.
code:[LARGE_ROAMING][FREQUENCY:5]
The frequency can be set to any number, but if you want to see your creature more often, set it higher.

Another thing that could be wrong is that you have it in the wrong txt document. If you want it to spawn as an temperate creature, it goes into the creature_large_temperate.txt, not in the creature_domestic.txt .
Third thing that could be wrong is that you didn't create a new world and you're still using the old world, that doesn't have the creature.
