I've been trying to figure out if vermin can have secretions to spread gas or liquid contaminants as a mass-delivery system. No luck thus far, sadly, as I've had to rely on third parties for testing until the Mac version releases.

I'm also considering giving a creature a liquid brain with mind-altering effects, insofar as it's possible.

I'm not sure that Vermin can attack at all (in fact I'm almost certain they can't), so the idea of Vermin created syndromes is still an impossibility at this point. Which is a shame since I really wanted to mod in a disease spread by Rats similar to the Black Death.

If I'm right you could do that with:

The '100' stands for chance of the vermin 'biting' a creature that steps onto the same tile, if I recall correctly.

I'm not sure what you named your syndrome carrying extract, but you should put the name of that one where I put 'BLACK_DEATH'.

That's actually not one of mine. Besides, that'd mean it simply is a spider incapable of spinning webs.

I was looking through my legends when I stumbled on 'Ak Bronzecankers the Golden Skulls', a slate grey demon.

Reading through its legends, I read that Ak 'Buried the Dwarf Mistīm Blockadecrimson alive in Puzzlewhipped.

Did anybody else read of such killings before?

Edit:

Our grey friend also seems to have drowned, beheaded and hacked dwarves to pieces.

That, and he murdered some goblins as well.

I've fixed any bugs I had created, tested the spiders, concluded that they are fun and Fun, and I've uploaded the 'new version'.

I spent the last week dabbling in the raws to try and reach a specific goal, but I couldn't.

I've put that goal off for now, and I'll move on to the next.

If you want to eat them, you should tame and then slaughter them.

Take a look at the z -> animals screen.

You could also have them breed to supply you with groundhog meat.

Okay, so I have been off this weekend, and now I'm back. -- Yes, I know you were glad I was gone, but here I am again, sorry.

Anyways, I just noticed I messed up a little by forgetting quite a lot of things in the raws, along with none of my spiders being quite capable to wound their targets (their digestive juices somehow don't pop up, along with their attacks never hitting).

Should have fixed those soon enough.

Ahaha, I laughed through that. I'm surprised you didn't mention the poor treatment of other traders in the quest for globalization (humans) or declaring cultures who defend their land as savages (goblins). And of course, all that digging around in the earth to find the precious oil (the blue stuff).

I'm sure this analogy can be extended further. And Caesar, it's humour :P
